    6500 mAh, active cooling with internal fan, 3.5 mm headphone jack and LED lights, all in 229 grams. According to Samsung's and apple's logic, this should be at least half a kilo and 5 cm in thickness.

      Dude the battery isn't gonna last that long due to lack of optimization. And the UI isn't that good.
      Nothing Phone 2 and S23U will easily beat this one.

      @@joshuamarvin2239 while I agree that the UI is worse and optimization is not the best, saying the battery life is not going to be good based on that is just wrong.
      I tried the Redmagic 8 Pro which has a smaller battery than this and it lasts longer than any Samsung flagship I've used, you can check reviews to confirm that.
      Next updates should fix the current one

      @@joshuamarvin2239 their UI has a specific UI tailored to optimaization from the fan speed and LED colur to the cpu prrformance - beyond bssic sleep or work mode settings that is typical.

    Headphone jacks and charging ports of gaming phones should be on the sides to minimize interruption when playing..
    But I guess that would be hard to rearrange the internal parts..
    Top right like this one or bottom right i guess would be fine but youll need a right angle 3.5mm jack so it wont stick out of your fingers while playing..

    • @noblemoon
      @noblemoon Před 5 měsíci +2

      Update: I've just bought this phone. Yeah it's great for gaming.
      But personally I still prefer the Black Shark version of the physical trigger buttons.
      I just rest my fingers there and click when I need to. I'm still having a few mistouches on the trigger buttons but I think it's just more of getting used to.
      Rear cam - decent. Front cam - dont expect anything 😆
      Oh and the left speaker (landscape) will be covered by your hand when playing. Maybe use a wired gaming headphones.
      Yes it still gets warm even with the fan on. But I do have cooling fan from my previous gaming phone and it helps. You won't have any problem with any games with this one (i think) 🙃

    my redmagic 6s pro which i bought at decemeber 2 years ago is still working great right now, the transparent back that shows the airduct was not pleasant anymore because of the buildup of dust. the only problem i experience was the fingerprint sensor's software was failing from time to time, the remedy was to re-register your fingerprint again.

      Mine was working for about 2,5 years but the fan gave up after about 1,5 years. Sim tray broke half a year ago and the replacements are extremely expensive. Also 4-5 months ago a green line artifact started to show on the screen and disappear after about 10 seconds. Last week I damaged the sim slot myself. I will go for Samsung Galaxy 23 or 24 Ultra this year.

    A niche phone, and TBH, I am surprised gaming phones still exist as they offer nominal gains over many non-gaming phones. Also, those advantages are offset by no IP rating, poor cameras, and lack of OS support (maybe 2-years if you are lucky). The benefits certainly do not outweigh the negatives for most, even if you are a hardcore gamer on your phone!

    • @siyzerix
      @siyzerix Před 6 měsíci +1

      They tend to be cheaper, have a large uninterpreted display, long battery life, keeps performance for long periods of time, etc. Those are quite good.
      And OS support does not necessarily mean something better. Apple infamously slows down phones with them and so do other flagships. Exception would be stock android phones.

    I just read GSMarena's review and they were very negative for what is an amazing value phone. They didn't pay much attention to the improved display, their benchmarks didn't happen properly as their benchmarks are the exact opposite of what im seeing youtubers get. The only thing that seems like a deal breaker for me is the unavailability of High refresh rate gaming, or so GSM says and u said you couldn't get 90 fps in PUBG. I mean what's the point of a gaming phone then if HRR gaming ain't possible yk. The Iqoo 12 captured my heart and is still a top grade phone for not flagship price. The Redmagic 9 Pro getting hot is also kind of a bummer, but at least it isn't throttling like the Iqoo 12, tbh idk which I'd prefer, throttling with cooler temps or no throttling with hotter temps but I'd say giving the option for both would be in the best interests of everyone.

    • @Techtablets
      @Techtablets  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Not sure they must have had different firmware, I had a final firmware only recently but had this phone for a month now. I guess they never waited for the fixes. But I don't check other reviews as to not have them influence my own. The IQOO 12 is one of my favorite value flagships, if they can fix the front cam no EIS and lessen that throttling it would be a winner. It still is in its current state.
