    I’m doing local locums in Georgia so I get to be home every night. In a city with lots of hospitals that aren’t very far from one another, doing local locums is CLUTCH. I live at home and round at damn near every hospital in the city. It’s nice, and lucrative. I love it!

    • @doctorcurtiso.7853
      @doctorcurtiso.7853  Před 3 lety +2

      Thank you for supporting my content! If I understand your questions correctly, its pretty spread evenly for locum a for a particular company at a particular hospital but it can definitely be uneven across different locum companies at different hospitals just because every hospital has their own unique system that they have in place which affects the locum company using their docs at that particular place. Hope that makes sense and answers your question

    • @taliaengstrom6601
      @taliaengstrom6601 Před 2 lety +5

      Hi, Hamza! My name is Talia, I am actually a consultant specifically for locums AND I work with Hospitalists!
      So, when you work for a locums company, you are not charged anything. We pay you! We charge the client (i.e., the hospital who hires US to hire YOU). It is always a locum consultant’s job to get the best rate possible for the provider. Actually just today, I refused an offer from a hospital for my provider, because I knew that it in no way reflected my provider’s capabilities. There are, unfortunately, locum companies who try to undersell their provider just to ensure that they get a listing with a hospital. That is not what they should be doing!
      I know this post was 10 months ago, but I happened to be on and Dr. Curis O. caught my attention, and I noticed your comment! :) Let me know if I can help you out! :)
