Reminds me SO much of Maradona. The more I watch these older games (from Messi's younger days) he reminds me SO MUCH of Maradona. The way he always beats the defender to the ball, by pre-positioning his body. The defender just watches the ball, but MESSI watches the DEFENDER AND THE BALL at the same time. And he always wins the battle for position, which allows Messi to make that first magic contact with the ball. (again, just like Diego used to do)
