Those are great choices for budget friendly gear. I started out with that same Klymit pad and never had any issue with it. Did have an issue with a different model klymit. However, because I'm a little "older" I had to move to a thicker pad to comfort these bones. Glad you're going to do the Foothills Trail. I did that in 2021 and enjoyed it. I might go back one day and do it the other direction and take a little more time to enjoy it. I also plan to thru hike the Pinhoti whenever I have freedom to be gone for a few weeks. Stay cool!
