Thanks for the wonderful video.. But did u mention that your editing is bad.. Maybe a bit, but u made it funny.. We could even hear someone prompting the script at the end.. LOL.. BTW, a very informative video..!! Thanks a ton..!!
which coffee to use, can we normal bru coffee too or some specific. I have seen people using bru and normal ones in my office and I am a big fan of south Indian filter coffee !
+sandhya Kolluru, sorry about the late response! This is constructed based on the traditional south Indian filter. It just has been engineered to be able to pour out the decoction from the bottom chamber.
82hopper Depends on preference we think... The stovetop gives you a brisker, cleaner espresso (contact time with coffee powder is far less), whereas the south Indian filter gives you a deeper, fuller cup (the contact time with the powder is far more).
Flying Squirrel thanks, whats the brew time with the indian filter ? i've only used stovetops. can you recommend me a good brand to buy the indian cofee filter (preferably online !)
between 3-5 minutes, depending on amount of coffee powder and water. If you want that actual, traditional south indian coffee taste --> www.flyingsquirrel.in/coffees/cafe-chic
also, this seems to be a good coffee filter to buy: www.amazon.in/BM-Coffee-Filter-150ml/dp/B00KE2UD7Y?tag=googinhydr18418-21&kpid=B00KE2UD7Y&tag=googinkenshoo-21&ascsubtag=5ac67923-0a82-4119-822a-b15b4172861d

NO instant coffee like Nescafe and Bru won't give you that result. Go for the crushed coffee.
what is this kind of filter called? This is not the traditional south indian filter!
