which coffee to use, can we normal bru coffee too or some specific. I have seen people using bru and normal ones in my office and I am a big fan of south Indian filter coffee !

NO instant coffee like Nescafe and Bru won't give you that result. Go for the crushed coffee.

what is this kind of filter called? This is not the traditional south indian filter!

+sandhya Kolluru, sorry about the late response! This is constructed based on the traditional south Indian filter. It just has been engineered to be able to pour out the decoction from the bottom chamber.

what makes better coffee the south indian filter or the stovetop italian style pot ?

    • @FlyingSquirrelCoffee

82hopper Depends on preference we think... The stovetop gives you a brisker, cleaner espresso (contact time with coffee powder is far less), whereas the south Indian filter gives you a deeper, fuller cup (the contact time with the powder is far more).

between 3-5 minutes, depending on amount of coffee powder and water.
