Yes! Thank you! Looking forward to getting it sewn up now. Popped it in the wash as soon as I finished sorting my fabrics and now waiting for it to dry. Will get the pattern prepared today so hopefully by Monday I can start cutting into the fabric 🪡

I look forward to seeing your make! Nice pairing. I have some chiffon and need to make something with it. I am stumped 🤔 I recently made anew dress in pastel colors and spilled a red berry drink all over it at a concert, it didn’t even show! I was amazed.
I’m absolutely in love with it, definitely don’t think I would’ve bought the fabric if I had seen it in a shop or online. The Fleur dress looks amazing and can’t wait to start making it. Have the fabric now washed and it’s drying … patience Emma, patience! I tend to stay away from chiffon as it is a very slippery fabric and I think I’d loose my rag with it!

Hi Emma, I think this pattern will suit you perfectly and I look forward to seeing it made up. I can also imagine it in a mid blue chambray or a lighter weight denim (with perhaps a different patterned fabric for the ties) worn with a short sleeve T for your spring and autumn months. 🌸
Ooooh that’s a great idea Julie! My sewing brain is way more faster than my actual brain 😂 but aiming to cut out in the next couple of days as I’m trying to get the kallax unit built that I bought yesterday so I can move a billy unit out the way and put at least two kallax units under the white desk! Oooft that’s me went in a ramble 😂

It really is! But I think I’ll be doing the dress since it’s summery and I have enough fabric and it’ll totally be my vibe!

The pattern lends itself to colourblocking, ie, the sleeves could be done in an eyelet with the fabric from the box; or so I think!
That's a great idea! I think I’ll go for the sleeveless as I can also pop a cardigan or shirt over to protect my shoulders from the sun or if it gets nippy in the evening. Looking forward to sharing it with you!
