how to beat character creation boss:
spends 3 hours making a decent looking character.
selects knight
play for 3 hours
takes off helmet
realize your face looks different from afar and looks like rotted greatwood bollocks
delete save and restart with the noble preset.

Otzdarva, the amount of effort you put in interactive videos like this is amazing. I loved the interactive DkS2 build-guide and I'm glad you took the time to make another vid in the same style! I spent almost an hour on the creator when I started and got my character to look something like a cross of Male 1-D and Male 2-B, with a bit darker skin. Maybe I'll go see if I can perfect his look a bit more with 'ol Rosaria... Anyways I just wanted to show some love and appreciation to you and your hard work, cheers Otz!

Honestly, if you have a good grasp of the character creator you won't need this. But the 6 main presets are quick to make, very customizable and a great place to start in my opinion. I know I'll be using them myself. Well, or would, if I wasn't absolutely sick of the character creator right now. ^^

Nicely done! I remember making a good looking character when I got the game, but it seriously took me at least 2 hours. They should've made way more presets for the sake of convenience.
Or at least more decent looking ones! Good thing we save our creations now. This video would've been impossible without that feature.

Otzdarva not for you, no) For me, on the other hand, whenever I try to do something decent I fock shit up real bad and then just cycle that quasi-randomizer, that gives you slightly changed faces, untill I have something, that does not give me chills

I've been making my characters in games for years now using all the options available it's something you get better at, I find the neck to be really weird in ds3 that's what seems to throw the face off massively on all the characters.

That's one of the many things you shouldn't say out loud in public.
First time playing this game, thinking making my character as muscular as possible would be a good idea to make him look super cool. In armor however, he looks like if he falls over he can't get back up by himself because he ate to many twinkie rolls -.-. I mean come on, he looks like Siegward!!! How is this supposed to be an epic hero? I dont really care about his face, but at least in armor he should look decent...
