Today I’m reviewing and taking a first look at the every KOBE V Protro sneaker from Kobe Week 2020. Inspired by one of the greatest NBA players of this generation, Kobe Week highlights the achievements and work of Kobe Bryant. Staying true to Kobe's legacy, Nike has decided to release a few different color ways of the Nike Kobe V Protro. 3 pairs are being released by the brand directly, while the remaining pairs will be released by UNDEFEATED. The Kobe V Protro from Nike is an updated version of Kobe Bryant's fifth signature shoe with the brand that has beed modified for the rigors of the modern game of basketball.Look for the new sneakers to release in a few different colorways on Nike.com and on SNKRS. Jacques @Kustoo Slade is a guy that loves sneakers and creates CZcams videos about them as well as other things. This channel has sneaker collections from Nike, Jordan, adidas, Yeezy, Reebok, Under Armour and more. He also does sneaker reviews, sneaker shopping, performance reviews, and sneaker history. He also loves technology, music, and pop culture and often mixes the three with sneaker to create one of the few "sneaker" channels that bridges the gap.
Nike should be ashamed for ruining Kobe week. You pause all sales of his merch and then release such small quantities only celebs/influencers can get them. How is that honoring his legacy?

Hey man Kobe is the reason i love basketball. I remember going to the card shop with my dad when I was little to get a rookie card because my dad said he was going to be “special”.. I got the undefeated pack and I’m going to cherish them
Viktor Rykala it’s unfortunate that Nike didn’t take pre orders for these sneakers. Kobe meant a lot to our culture and that fact that MOST of his fans were not even given the opportunity to purchase the shoes is ridiculous.
I’m so heated about these, specifically the Lakers colorway because I waited months because I wanted a new pair of Kobe’s and I loved that specific colorway when AD wore it, it’s a damn shame how they handled selling them
Sean Fulmer Nike screwed up badly selling these shoes and Jersey. I literally paid at 7 am sharp for the jersey and a few minutes later got a message it was sold out. If you were a Kobe fan looking into getting a memory, you got screwed. Bots and resellers snatch everything before a casual fan had a chance. Damn shame.
Nike has to do pre-orders on Kobes so everyone who actually wants to honor him will get one!

Exactly I don't know 1 Kobe fan that was able to buy any of the new releases. I have 6 different devices trying to buy some of the releases and I wasn't able to get ANYTHING. Nike really needs to release more or at least prevent resellers from using the sneaker bots to make purchases.
So heart broken waited all year for the big stages and then them got gobbled up by bots.

I really just want the eybl colorway. As a kid growing up in L.A. this guy really shaped who I am today. An i cant even honor him because nike won't allow everyone to have them

If that's how he wants to remember Kobe then that's what he wants 🤷♂️ your opinion of how Kobe "should" be remembered and honored is also just an opinion. It's like if someone gave you a farewell gift. Sure the gift isn't as significant as the memories and accomplishments but that gift holds a lot of value. Each person might have a different story for why they want kobe shoes. I'm sure Kobe as a business man wanted his shoe to profit. But at the same time as an athlete, wanted a quality shoe that people would love hooping in. And it's frustrating that someone can't even do that, because of how Nike handled the product.

I swear not one real person was able to get the shoes or the jersey. My dad tried to get the shoes and jersey for me on 2 different devices and everything sold out in 1 Minute every time. Kobe’s aren’t and shouldn’t be rare. Let the fans enjoy his legacy once again.

Kobe shoes have always been my favorite Basketball shoes. Del Sol was my first Kobe shoe given to me. Then I bought a discounted Mentality 4 yrs ago and lastly a month before his death I bought the AD NXT FF. There hasn’t been any shoe that I played like ever.
Dam Nike didn't even let you keep these, that sucks. The one time they send you shoes that you can't keep its the Kobe pack that was pretty much impossible to get for retail. They normally send you shoes to unbox all the time for you to keep and yet they tease the shit out of you by sending some of the most wanted shoes of this year.
