    I really like this series! Can’t wait to see more! If you don’t mind, could you explain the camera and video setup a bit? Brands/platforms (is it OBS?)? Thanks!!!

    Not sure if you’ve covered it but would love to know how to break down pricing for a pick your own team break to work out pricing for each individual team

    Great info, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing the rest of this series. My son and I just did 2 breaks. It was eye-opening. Our goal was to collect the Chicago Cub cards so we sold all the spots besides the Cubs (or tried). We did one break with 2020 Donruss Hobby / 2020 Select Hobby and another break of Bowman 2020 Hobby. It was quite a bit of work, which I expected, but between the costs and fees associated with it all I think we went in the hole about $100. We may try again as I paid full price for those boxes and didn’t run the break until after I think interest diminished quite a bit. But eBay and PayPal fees make me wonder if we could even break even doing this.

      Yeah, it's not a get rich endeavor for sure. Especially now that so many folks are breaking cards. I suggest doing the math to a per spot basis before you promote the break at all. And yes, the work that goes into 2 breaks is a lot! Shipping, packaging, sorting... It all takes time. But that being said, if you do the math, you should be able to pay for your Cubs spot, cover your shipping, and still make a few bucks. Keep experimenting, find the mix that works for you and make that a repeatable process! Good luck!

    What happened to the rest of the videos in this series? They're not in the playlist with the first 2, just a bunch of random videos that have nothing to do with this playlist series

    Love the series. Very informational for someone like myself that is looking to do a few breaks.
    But have I missed the 3rd one on marketing?

    Hi sir... very informative video... i would like to ask if do you have a video on how to divide the price of teams in a certain break... pick your team style... like on how much charlotte hornets would be being the most expensive team in a break so on and so forth... im a little lost at pyt type of breaks..

      Hi Isabelle! Not strange... With the start of the card season, I shifted focus to doing new set reviews for products being released. This will come back and the promotion video is going shortly.

    How do you break during offseason? Old products?

    • @1CentSportsCards
      @1CentSportsCards  Před 4 lety

      Honestly, there is only about 1 month during the year where cards for baseball do not come out... Jan. That's when I do videos like these!

  • @hoopsdailynewsoninstagram2317

    Is there going to be more parts?

    • @1CentSportsCards
      @1CentSportsCards  Před 3 lety +1

      Probably, But these are a bit outdated. I think I want to simplify them and focus more on what it takes to build a successful community around breaking. I haven't quite figured out the format for a revised series.
