Having the UNDP host that event in Anambra state or somewhere in Cross River would have had a positive impact on the local economies of these states. Hotels will be booked, services will be procured and value will be trapped locally. But no, they decide to go to Kigali. Highbrow hotels in Kigali require payments in USD. The govenors definitely took estacodes in USD. Calculate that for 19 governors. Let's assume they got $5,000 each. That will amount to $95,000 leaving our local economy for Rwanda's. Yet, we complain of forex shortages in Nigeria. The politicians are a major conduit pipe for forex in Nigeria. They crowd out supply of forex, denying real sector players access to forex to run their production activities. I am dissappointed to say the least.

I see it as a waste of time and money. There are a lot of mega abandoned projects in Anambra state. In today’s world you don’t need to travel around to learn. Just get online and you will get all the information you need. Visit schools in Nigeria and listen to the teachers and students. You don’t need to go to Kigali to learn how to build roads or provide sewage systems for your people.

    Tinubu won the election easily.
Without the support of the Moslem north (50%) of the country, Peter Obi had no chances
With old PDP split into 4 - new PDP, G5 PDP, LP, and ANPP, Obi had no chances
With LP, split into 2 - Obi faction, and Jude Ezenwanfor faction, Obi had no chances.
(Jude Ezenwafor was the original LP presidential candidate before Julius Abure conducted another election that produced Peter Obi. Igbo elders appealed to him not to fight his brother because of an election, so he stayed quiet.)

This is vintage soludo very real and practical. President Tinubu inherited a dead economy and anyone trying to dispute this is simply being contentious.Secondly, holding president tinubu responsible for what happened during ex-president buhari's regime is simply preposterous, its only a moron that would insist that tinubu should have corrected buhari,- in what capacity would he hàve done that?,as what?, was it in his capacity as a private citizen, or a party member or a party leader? Since when did we start holding party leaders responsible for performance of presidents and governors in Nigeria. Why should tinubu's case be different, why should he be held responsible for buhari' failure
