This is very true. I used to drink alcohol and be lazy. Now I'm a morning person and try to never sit down too long. Got rid of my TV many years ago. Peace!
I'm retired.
Up early - 5 AM
Listen to Catholic podcasts. Prayers, gathering trash.
7:00 - drive to Church. Lead Morning Prayer using Liturgy of the Hours. Pray group rosary.
8:30 Mass.
9:15 - hang out with Mass goers, in parish hall, for coffee.
11:00 - Go home. Check on dog. Let him out.
12:00 - Take a nap.
2:00 - Prepare dinner. My wife works full time.
Depending on the day:
Go grocery shopping.
Clean up the yard. Clean walkway. Rake leaves.
I'm a deacon in our Church - so I have burials, bring Holy Communion to the sick, and homebound, Baptisms most weekends.
2 or 3 Masses each weekend.
Weekday Communion Liturgy if priests are unavailable.
9 PM - Hit the sack.
Now, I still think that I don't do enough. 😅

Prayer or Pious reading is great when you don't have actual labor. Meditation on the lives of Saints, of our Lady and our Lord, also great. Conversation with family and friends can be on Pious topics instead of useless frivolities. 🌹🌳🌷

How does a married/working lay person keep the silence? It seems to not be functional.
Is being messy, or cluddered or hoarder always a sign of no discipline even though you stay busy? Is sloth doing what your suppsed to do when your supposed to do it = neat.
Hoarding I believe is a sign of either attachment or indecision. Could range from vice (sin) to imperfection (not a sin). I don't know if not organizing your home is "sloth", but the saints tended to believe that cluttered space made for a cluttered mind and negatively affected your prayer life.

I have never heard of this Order. Is it Catholic? This is not the same Order as the Friars Minor, is it - taking into account the part of the title which reads 'Marian...'?
