I have one of these. I love it. I live in a crazy city with a lot of transit and my 308 has a great fuel consumption. The 8 speed transmission is very good and comfortable, couldn’t be faster as a dual clutch but it’s more reliable and comfortable for cities and highways.
I had a Clio RS with dual clutch and the transmission was just annoying in city situations...

Very underrated car. Do a skoda octavia rs 245 next
Small error : it delivers 300Nm of torque and not 285Nm
Pretty good amount of power from a 1.6. Very good actually
Even the standard 1.6 engine has good power. For some reason they don't offer it anymore in Australia, only the diesel and 3cyl petrol both of which lack adaptive cruise control and have worse performance, but slightly better economy. Silly decision IMO.
I have a regular 308 with the 1.6 engine. Bloody love it, amazing car packaged with features and beautiful to drive, and people in Australia ignore them? I just don't get it. The GT is great but I wouldn't buy one, only because they depreciate so much, at 2 years old you can get these for 50% less than retail.
Big Chief I’ve got a 1.2 turbo one, and I completely agree. Brilliant car. If anything, I’m looking at a second hand GTI next in a few years - they should be very cheap by then!
Nice movie, good car 👍
Comme l'a mienne 1.5 bluehdi 131 cv ca marche tres bien
Is that 1.6 THP Gasoline engine reliable?!
Do you have the same car in wagon? Pls
Great Daily car
Try a remapped 2.0 HDI much better.
I need help guys. Peugeot 308 gt or Renault megane gt which 1 out of those 2 should I buy
Opc Line Astra goes half a second faster even though being 200 hp
Choukei_San Considering the less power, there must be something special about the Holden
Beautiful car and interesting interior, however, not the best performer.
300 nm not 285
That blue is a crime
bmw x3 20d 2015
A DSG type transmission would do it some good
Up to about 100000km or 5 years right after the warranty expires then it becomes to risky especially when its a euro using dsg
@@robertceroli3512 exactly haha, it'll blow up as soon as your warranty does 😂
It's a good thing these use traditional autos. The T9 308 is a very solid, well built car and will easily last 10+ years provided you look after it, top up oil (it likes to drink it) and schedule on time.
Fast car. But not as fast as the 308 GTi by Peugeot sport (263ps).
Logic, it's a 308 GT not GTI.
So what ? This is not the same price
Yea that’s like comparing a Golf GTi to a Golf R. One costs more to be even faster, one is at a middle ground.
0-100 6.92 s best in class.

One of the most unreliable cars ever built........
We would all love to see some factual evidence to back up your claim that this generation of 308 is one of the most unreliable cars ever built. This CZcams video isn't going anywhere soon, so take your time, we'll wait.
@@iimer Wow Someone seems to be upset you must own One by the way it sounds.... soooooo just to let you know that I've been a mechanic for 38 years and still going ive worked on all types of cars and Peugeot in general are on the bottom of the list for reliability and general issues don't worry their not alone. I don't think I have ever meet a loyal Peugeot customer in almost 40years in the industry.........
@@PGee. I don't own one. But you're talking shit and should be called out on it. No one will dispute that Peugeot have made some pretty shitty cars, but the common gist is that they have come good in recent years and consumer reports seem to back that up.
@@iimer yeh i dont think so i work in a multi franschise dealership their still the same. if they can't get it right in their 120 or so years in producing cars I don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon. And Mate for someone that that doesn't own a Peugeot Your being so defiencive just relax their crap it's a fact.
LOL? are you for real? Peugeot has taken out TOP PLACE for reliability in the UK.. and PSA have invested millions in research and development to make their cars great once again. The T9 308 is considered to be a very reliable, well made car. Your living in the past.
