This wasn’t only Jack’s best performance - it was the best performance by any of the contestants this season. I wish he would record it. This guy is the American Idol in my opinion. He’s got all my votes.

No flashy lights, flashy outfit, or excessive runs. Just "Jack" and his voice. I love all of the contestants, but this hits differently.
One of the best male contestants ever
This was exceptional. One of the most moving I’ve ever seen on Idol. Most people sing the beautiful words, but Jack has been the first to mean it. It was an admission, an apology, a fight for the relationship, and a promise. Everything was there, and it REALLY just felt incredible, right through the TV. One of the truly great Idol performances.

To me...this was the most moving and compelling performance I have ever seen on Idol since its beginning. There is just something about Jack. If he does not win this whole thing, I will be shocked. He is unraveling more and more of himself with his unique voice each and every week.

I thought I was the only one that welled up with tears. Both this song and believe by Cher just hit different. Both made me shed a tear because he’s realizing the artist he’s meant to be in realtime and it just feels so special watching him perform. A lot of good talent this year but no other artist has moved me to tears with their voice alone.

He’s got this different kind of genius to him. He could sing Humpty Dumpty at the Opera and I’d pay for it. Just a story in the voice and I’m thankful he gets to tell that story

I love his voice...his heart...his gentle demeanor and most importantly his humble, quiet nature. The dark horse is picking up speed racing to the finish line. He is so incredibly likeable! He wasn't originally my pic for the win, but I would be thrilled if he did. What a lovely human with an endearing soul.

Me too 😂 I just love it! I've been replaying this one, Emmy and the duet they did together singing hello. Those three songs stood out the most to me last night. Nothing fancy, no screaming high pitches, just simplicity. I loved it.

0:56 - Up until this point, I was scared to see how he would navigate his way without his guitar, his safety blanket. But then he opened up his voice, his hand gestures became one with the words he was singing, and out came his greatest performance yet. Every star has that one standout moment, and this was his. He absolutely killed it. He made me feel the song in a completely different way. God, I can’t get enough of it. Stellar. Flawless. But most importantly, it just oozed out of him. The way he sings really is an art.

There is a pureness in his delivery of whatever song he sings and he does his own arrangements to make each one so wonderful to listen to. Love this young man and what a role model for America he is.

I really like this version-especially when Jack belts out those chest notes and gets into his falsetto.
Jack is a talented musician, a great song writer, he sings from the soul, he’s likeable, he’s got an incredible voice, he’s a phenomenal story teller, he can sing any genre, he makes you feel emotions, and he can successfully put his unique spin to original songs.
Not to mention it’s a Cinderella story that he almost didn’t make it through auditions. No other contestant has the full package like Jack! He’s got the it factor.

This is one song by Jack Blocker I like to listen to again and again and again. It's beautiful in every which way. Jack has it all. I like the way he's just so relaxed when he sings. He makes you feel relaxed too. Si humble and sweet, very unassuming. Great personality too,
My winner. He reminded me of Fritz Hager from his audition alone and he’s still going strong

@@yxuen3051Funny…I’ve had the same feeling ever since the audition. I know many reality shows are really scripted and fake. Heck, even Shark Tank revealed when asked said it’s all about entertainment. But I don’t think anyone knew how amazing Jack would be. And if he wins, wow, what a story for American Idol! Up until recently, I thought Abi or McKenna would win easily. But Jack has come on strong. Luke nailed it saying his performance was spiritual, and he sang with heart and soul. I’ve never voted on AI before but I’m going to start!

Amazing refresh on the classic "You Were Always On My Mind", giving whole new meaning and genuine sentiment. In maybe the strongest American Idol class ever, with so many valid potential winners, I really just don't think we can let Josh Blocker go with anything less than the full win! His facial expressions will be as legendary as Elvis Presley's famous lip curl. Standing by all the contestants, judges, guests, and families. (And hoping this season changes Katy Perry's mind to stay longer). Fantastic job, truly memorable listen for people.
