    Egypt is an incredibly strong country to play for TALL development. Let me know if any of you have tried to play the Innovative Ideas campaign or played with cheap technology.

    if you conquer 20 East African provinces, you can get Tier 5 Cava units. For 2 mil points you get a free unit, you can consolidate them to instantly build it up to 1000 strength and then either you have a giant army or you can disband them and get their manpower costs back so instantly re-fill manpower.

    • @lookasetbella

      Oh I didn't know that, is it some kind of mission or a national decision?

    • @2009worstyearever
      @2009worstyearever Před 7 měsíci +2

      Its a mission and a decision. You can either get cawa in tier 5 or you get random Ethiopian advisors that are -75 percent st random times

      @@mathfrom0to96 no. Cawa is powerful precisely because it doesn't require it. So you have at tier 5 unlimited manpower (the only limit being mil points)

    It's extremely criminal to NOT gain a historical friendship with Venice as Mamluks. That way, it's much easier to maintain the newly vassalized Venice

    The thumbnail should show the before on the left and the after on the right. That's how it's read, left to right and how other before and afters have always appeared. It's even called a 'before and after' not an 'after and before'. :)

    • @lookasetbella
      @lookasetbella  Před měsícem

      But that's the point. People usually see the top left corner first and then see after. And they are intrigued as before. This makes them look at the thumbnail longer.

  • @CooltasticOG
    @CooltasticOG Před 7 měsíci +2

    Thumbnail suggestion: Before image should be on the left, and After image on the right.
    And there is a typo on before where it says 'Befor' instead of 'Before'

    • @lookasetbella
      @lookasetbella  Před 7 měsíci

      I used to do it so that first it was BEFORE, then AFTER. Surprisingly, such thumbnails clicked worse than the order I use now. People pay more attention to the left side of a miniature, so if it catches their attention, they will take a closer look at it. An exception to this is, for example, the use of faces on miniatures. But many CZcams advice channels recommend placing it on the left side.
      PS. Thank you for pointing out the typo.

    mamluks is the kind of country that got so overbuffed in the last patch that they are no longer fun in the hand of a player

    • @2009worstyearever
      @2009worstyearever Před 7 měsíci +7

      it was already an S tier country though. The only difference now some of its missions are sort of entertaining. But you'd just Dec 11 the Byz and that would be that for the Ottomans

    • @lookasetbella
      @lookasetbella  Před 7 měsíci +8

      Depends on experience. Most experienced players think that if you start with more than 1 province and you don't have 3 strong countries as enemies nearby, it's generally BORING!
      The missions in this DLC are mostly good. They don't make countries too powerful. This is not the level of France or England, which after 10 years is basically guaranteed to conquer the world.

      Because even you yourself think it can be perceived that way. I don't use Google Translator. But I use chatgpt to translate most of it. This is the English version of my Polish episodes. I'm trying to improve the translations, but I don't have much time for it, so there are probably some mistakes. Next year I will definitely post materials from time to time, which I will record first in English.

    Mamluks can genuinely do whatever.
    1.) You can attack the ottomans right away and you can win with some loans. (done that and I am not a good player. Good players can win without loans)
    2.) You can attack Byzantium, vassalize it and then beat the ottomans. The game is over at that point. Mamluks easily outscale even colonial powers (did that too)
    3.) You can hit the bayliks, then attack the ottomans and dominate them or just settle with preserving byzantium and cutting their asian holdings in half. You can utterly destroy them later.
    4.) You can just attack Qara Koyonlu, beat them, take the land, cut the ottomans from the rest of Asia and then get powerful european allies and beat them.
    5.) You can play tall, get european allies and beat the ottomans
    6.) You can play tall, and using the tactics in this video here just outscale the ottomans and beat them. Or you can ignore them and do whatever, you will still be at the top.
    7.) You can even fool around and get colonial ideas, then get another settler from the mission and dominate the colonizing game in Africa and Indonesia and start bashing heads in the far east (which is a cakewalk due to the technology advantage)
    I mean... I mean...

    • @lookasetbella

      ad.1 I'm not saying not to do it, I'm saying that I'm not doing it on purpose to have a stronger Osman later. More fun. I say that it is more optimal to destroy Osman using the Byzantine strategy.
      ad7. This is the plan for episode 2, but I'm wondering whether to record it.
