Tesla Illuminated Door Sill for Model Y and Model 3 | fitting guide and quick review

Tesla provide a retrofit illiminated door sill kit for the Model 3 and Model Y. We fit the latest (as of 2023) version to a 2022 European, China built Model Y. Fitting is not difficult, although it does it can be a little fiddly to lign up the magnet.
All the tools are provided with the exception of a "heat gun", or the DIYer's alternative, a hairdryer.
Installation takes about 10 mins per door, although we'd probably allow 30 mins to do the two and recommend you take your time.
