I have a whole separate problem with the Geforce experience. I've tried to update to version 3.19.0.107 but everytime I try to install it, it immediately tells me "Nvidia installer has failed to install." and im left with a troubleshoot link and thats it. I've done everything the troubleshoot page recommended but it still wont install. I even uninstalled the version I had but it still wont let me reinstall so now I basically lost Geforce experience forever. The only thing I will not do is uninstall everything Nvidia related including the drivers because I'm predicting that it still wont let me install even after that and then I have a useless gaming PC. Any help with this???

ok i found the answer, if you still having this problem you should be using SSD and HDD
so here's how:
1. download DDU (www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html)
2. open it and select your gpu (nvidia), choose the clean and restart button
3. after restarted, go to regedit and open (Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion)
4. set all value directory to C: (where your windows installed)
5. install the nvidia geforce (www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/)
6. your geforce should be working now

yoooo i think i know y .......it mostly happens when u mess around in registry .......especially when u change ur storage driver location in the registry. For example, u changed the it from Disk C to Disk D...
To fix this u have to revert it back to its initial location nd reinstall ur Nvidia driver .....it should work
