Calling your phone didn't show that it works. You were connected to wifi, galaxy phones have wifi calling so that only shows that the wifi calling works.

my s3 did not have that option 4 in the network lock screen the initializ... whatev... what should i do next it is not unlocking...
I didn't have the 4 option. it only showed the Rat option.

if you're update is 4.3 u wont be able to, you will have to go and pay for it to be unlocked.

you actually can't because Sprint uses the CDMA method which doesn't involve a sim card. ATT and T-Mobile are GSM networks
