Jerry Nelson was the best singer of all the Muppeteers. He also did Robin, Crazy Harry, Herry Monster, Farley, Mumford, Biff, Gobo, Marjory, and so many more.
When I heard George Harrison's acoustic version on Anthology 3, this sketch had a huge effect on how my mind envisioned the scenario of him playing it.
This is the reason the original Muppets needs to be on Disney+....!

How are you surprised by that. He's always been the bassist of the band.
And Paul McCartney was a bass player, and he could play lead guitar and piano. Roger Waters played a lot of acoustic guitar (he has a very particular style), John Deacon played the electric piano on 'You're my best friend' etc.
Lot of musicians are multi-instrumentalists.
