Chuck is a true comic book enthusiast, I visit the shop frequently, and wonder the same thing, what is going to happen to all this in the next 25 years???

Love when he talks about the "Nickelers"

The organization aspect of that behemoth collection is very cool. I kept thinking what the heck a monthly electric bill looks like for that warehouse/retail space!!
He definitely has his business dialed into a level of sustainment. He makes it very clear his business comfort level isn't conventional, or for everyone. "Know thy self"....and he is 100% true to that!

Charles" Chuck Rozanski" (aka Drag Queen "Bettie Page" ) He's a very interesting person and does many charitable shows. He's all for the Pueblo people and their pottery. He is one of a kind. Great video and interview.

Thanks Prime Time for introducing Chuck to us. It been great watching this series. My guess for Chuck's collection in his office is Disney related. I think he mentioned it.

Wow, that definitely took a lot of courage to get those shelves...and a pretty cool banker lol I actually moved into a bigger place so I would have an office, and that’s when I was just selling my own stuff, not even reselling yet, so now I’m glad I did it. Let’s be clear...I’m not comparing my space to his 😂 but having the space really does help you grow! I liked how said he didn’t care how long he blocked off that one section since it was paid for. That is the kind of mentality in reselling when we say “waiting for the right buyer” and not racing to the bottom, being able to wait something out, at least that’s what I took from that. Thanks so much for the time you took creating this series, see ya on the live tonight!

Yes, so true on all points. I'm actually going to do a live show tomorrow with Don about the race to the bottom and being patient. Should be a fun show!

I just bought some more shelving this past week and still need more. What Chuck said about old comics and collectibles becoming more rare every day reminds me of the 3 crates of comics I had that got ruined by water over 40 years ago. That was a sad day.
Finally, I believe you mentioned a pottery collection in Chuck's office. I hate that this great series is almost over, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing his office.

Been there once and place is huge. cool to see on video but to actually go to it and be inside is awhole different feeling lol. seen videos where he had pallets of comics sent to teh shop for other places or stores that closed for any reason and they just detail the boxes and move from boxes to shelfs anytime and add to the abundance of stuff they already got. can only guess they have issues of comics some or many try find and cant cause they dont try check all over for it at all. good to know he has plans and knows how to do things right that work and keep going as needed. but think any comic fan be ovewhelmd seeing the place first hand anytime lol. and to know u discover place first in the comics u read years ago lol.

Some comics are like commodities though. There is only so many Turok 1 people want. If the prices are bottoming out on books like that then that is what an individual issue is worth. Basically when he wants to time capsule the section he wants to restrict the market so he can sell at a higher price, which is his perogative, but it's not a sense of maintaining value, it's an attempt to get a return on investment.

"Collectibles are a diminishing supply" "floods" "fire" etc... So having a significant amount of them warehoused in a single location seems safe.

Chuck is 66 as of 8/5/2021. He isn't likely to be doing to much more in ten years time. Sorry but at 76 he's gonna be a different man. He might be dead or drooling in 10 years. It's just the way the biological clock works. All the bad health stuff happens in the time zone that Chuck is already in and it only magnifies as each year passes. Dusty Hill of ZZ Top just dropped dead at 72. Personally I thought he was more like 66. I had seen where the band had been booked to play at the Florida Theater in November. I was thinking, oh yeah, I MUST see the band one more time. Now who knows if the band will add a bass player. I think it is likely but who knows. Time Waits For No One, and not even Mick Jagger who is 77 years old but thinks and acts like a really young guy. Mick seems to be oblivious to his age. Chuck needs a plan for his comic collection. He needs an heir, someone who will give a damn, someone who has a passion for the comic book business.

I don't like the wooden shelves. There is a huge empty space in the middle, plus the books are laid down horizontally and I think that is bad for the books. Call me a critic or a nitwit but I don't like the wooden shelves. I don't care if the books are butted up to support the books. I wouldn't store books in that manner.
