Here’s “Blue Bossa”, my duet with Chick Corea. This was a tune that Chick suggested we play for the recording.
I love the continuity of the ideas and how they develop.

I only realized now Chick Corea died last year, so sorry😢... Roy Hargrove 😢, Lyle Mays😢... Heaven must be full of music...
Fortunately Chucho Valdes is still with us at 80. I saw him play a few years ago, still amazing. As his legendary father, Bebo Valdes lived to 94, I hope that his son will inherit his longevity along with what we’ve seen of his brilliance on the piano. Chucho’s daughter has also inherited this talent. Vale Chick Corea - greatly missed!
We can keep them alive listening to them, sending their tunes as a bdy card and not letting any one trying to change "our" music in our home. I'm going to be 70 and with CZcams I'm always searching for my jazz idols. Well, this tune in particular would be too difficult to understand to a non trained ear. Regards from Mexico, where not everything is crime.

Hi Eliane, I met you in BIRLAND and you did a photo with me on 27th February 2016. That day was my birthday. I will never forget our conversation. I told you I was argentine and you told me you want to come to Argentina once. I have a wonderful remember. I never saw the picture, jajaj but you were so kind to talk to me, it was one of my wonderful gift I received in my life, your fabulous concert and the posibilitiy to talk. Thank you very much. Sensacional!! Gostaria um dia de ter o prazer de ver Eliane Elias tocando Loco Motif , música que me inspirou a entrar na atmosfera pianística e me aprofundar nos estudos. Na minha opinião Loco Motif do álbum Ilusions, com todas suas lindas modulações e belíssimos solos é o que existe de mais belo e inspirador para ouvir de manhã , a tarde e ao anoitecer!
