I thought it was total $70,000 for 3 years? For a BS in Digital Online Filmmaking. Its $70k per year? Nah, it can't be. Maybe on campus but not the online degrees.
I just checked and its $70k for the entire BS degree program.

Answer me this question, So I'm a 25 year old navy veteran. I love film and video and want to dive into that industry. I believe what you say about not going to school creatively bc of the waste in time and money? Should I get a degree in film with the full ride from the GI Bill? I literally don't know what to do.

If you can get a FREE education. Then it’s not a waste of money. But I think her point is that information is everywhere and self taught people sometimes learn more because they have to figure it out themselves

Im a vet myself and I am using my gi bill and fafsa to pay for the la film school. The gi bill pays me monthly for my rent. Its not a waste of money if you have a gi bill.

I actually looked at that school too! I wanted to go to college in Cali for a hot minute... in the end Temple University won that battle 🎨💯🤓

It depends on which degree program you are in. I’m attending right now and it is $20,500 annually. I’m in a Bachelors degree program (Writing for Film & TV). After technology fees the whole program is $64,000- start to finish.

they are a scam y’all. la film is greedy even if you signed up for the campus programs! with the pandemic the campus is barley open and i am still paying $90,000 when i graduate. i didn’t realize my mistake with choosing this place until i moved to LA starting my 2nd year. if you are thinking about going there don’t! save your money and time 👍🏼😅

Not to mention they harass you on your first week to pay the rest since the financial aid barely covered anything and they promised a laptop just for enrolling, and you don’t get one until after completing more than 3 classes depending on what you are studying

This school is a whole scam some happy go lucky lady name Erica will offer you a chance to go and offer you the latest Mac book if you enroll into the film school, then when you do enroll you find out you don’t get a Mac book untill after you have to pass 3 or more classes , and after your first week in class some annoying guy or lady named Joseph will bothering you to pay the remaining amount right away, and when you need some time they start calling you and calling you every damn day asking you to pay the remaining amount since your financial aid barely covered squat in this overpriced school and you see on some videos including pointless TikToks of wealthy kids flexing that they get to go to this school in style in a comfortable car and you have to find a way to get there by bus or the suspicious metro.I figured out I wasn’t the only one who was going through the same situation there are multiple students who went to the same thing and this school lies to you that they will help you find a career in the film industry, some student is working an underpaid job (pizza delivery)just to pay the school back and no fancy job as they promised. I do not recommend going here at all
