- In Islam, the Quran is often described as "Nazil." This word means "to come down," as in, to come down from heaven. According to our Muslim friends, the Quran came down from heaven by Allah and was revealed to the prophet Muhammad... But just how "divine" is the Quran?

These are all prophets according to the Quran
In English translations of the Old Testament Bible/Jewish Tanak, whenever we find the word Lord spelled LORD with all capital letters, it is the translation of the name YHWH from Hebrew. This name of the God of Israel-הוהי/yhwh-occurs over 6,800 times in the Hebrew Bible. Jah or Yah (Hebrew: יָהּ, Yāh) is also a short form of יהוה (YHWH)
In fact, Muhammad's claim of 124000 prophets that were send around from the Quran is not back up by any evidences. Muhammad mentioned the names of only 25 of them in His Qur’an. And, all 25 names of the Prophets mentioned in Muhammad’s Quran are the names of Jewish leaders and kings mentioned in the Jewish Tanakh and Christian Bible, except the name of Muhammad himself. Not a single name of other Prophets for the rest of the world was mentioned at all.

I’ve heard many ex- Muslims talk about the contradictions in the quran. Even this one guy I think from Australia who converted to Islam and joined isis, he later was sent to prison and decided to learn Aramaic and through that found contradictions in the quran by using Aramaic sources older than the quran and left islam. For one of the contradictions, for example the contradiction mentioned at minute 6 about Jesus explaining his death is not a contradiction as we believe everything dies in the end except God, and Jesus will die as well when he is brought back to the earth ljke any other human. When I began to become more curious about Islam I asked a Lebanese friend about it and even though he isn't the brightest guy the first thing he told me was all this bragging about how their are no contradictions in the Quran and how it's never been changed so that made me more curious. He knew I grew up as a Catholic so he told me they believe in Jesus as well, they believe he also was conceived by the virgin Mary yet they don't believe he was divine in anyway.... That's when right away I was wondering how could they believe he was born from a virgin yet that was not a miracle.. isn't that a contradiction?
They also believe he could speak and talk like a human adult while he was a baby.

Because You, being a Man, make Yourself God: Even, the Jews of Jesus’ day clearly understood what you and many Islamist seem to miss what was clearly stated - that Jesus clearly claimed to be God.
Also, looking at Quran 9:31 (Sahih International)
They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah , and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.
If you actually go to the actual honest arabic transliteration, it implies that Allah and the Messiah are one and should be taken as Lord and worshipped.

@@aslamirfanchoudhary1262 unfortunately for them, Jesus is all over their text (Isaiah 53, Daniel 7:13, Psalm 110, Deutoronomy 18:15 etc.) For all of these to be fulfilled, Jesus had to have known God face to face like Moses, perform miracles, be both David's "Son" and his Lord, be a humble servant to be exalted by God, be both man and divine (thus the miracle birth), and so on. Mohammed is not in the Bible. He contradicted Jesus' message, thus clearly walking in the spirit of the antichrist, and will be judged by Christ.

Jesus was born of virgin birth. Jesus do not have a father. Adam is even more miraculous. He do not have a father or mother. Is Adam god? No. Then how can you say Jesus is god.
The church fathers chose the 4 canonical gospels and reject the others. Can you be certain that they have chosen the correct ones.
So Jesus was born but he did not die on the cross. Christians say Jesus willingly forsake his life for our sins . Then why did the man on the cross beg god not to forsake him? The man who died in the cross is not Jesus he had already ascended to heaven. Jesus did not die. He will however will descend again to earth as a messiah at the end of times. He will rule the earth and die a natural death. Humans only die once. He will be resurrected again like all of us and be questioned. This shows that there is no contradiction in the Quran. You should be giving me that SGD2 for writing this much.

Reese when you do these videos and reference the Quran chapters can you please include the number of the chapter? For those of us with a more limited knowledge of the Quran this will make it easier to look up this reference. Not sure if this one is on your radar but I would love to see you put out a video on the various internet sources and book sources you use. I have read one biography of Mohammed (The Sealed Nectar) but it would be great for you to suggest some readings for Christians without a Muslim background that will equip us to counter Islamic dawah. Really looking forward to your next video. I respectfully encourage the other viewers of this channel to step up and give financial support even at a dollar a video. This is a great service to the body of Christ and certainly worthwhile of the support from those who can afford it. I do realize not everybody can.

As for the chapters, the Quran has unique names for each "chapter" (surah). Unlike the Bible, which is 66 individual books, therein containing chapters and verses, the Quran is 114 surahs that all have a unique name. So, if you see a name (like "Al-Baqara") then a verse, the name is the chapter since the Quran technically does not have numbered chapters. I hope that makes sense. Christ bless you!
@@ReeseGivesLight You are bringing more confusion to your audience. Which Qur'an are you using and does not have chapters numbered? Sura Al Bakara is chapter number 2 of the Holy Qur'an and all it's verses are numbered.

If you ask the Catholics, protestants and orthodox christians they have different number of books.
We have a collection of quranic manuscripts stored at the University of Birmingham carbon dated to the time of the prophet. The text styles are different but the actual oral readings are the same. It's not the way it is written which may vary but the way it is read which is the same.

Ibn Saad 1:237 tells the story this way. "One day he was sitting in their assembly near the Kaaba, and he recited: By the Star when it sets till he reached, Have you thought upon Al-Uzza and Manat, the third, the other? Satan made him repeat these two phrases: These idols are high and their intercession is expected. The Apostle of Allah repeated them, and he went on reciting the whole sura and then fell in prostration, and the people also fell in prostration with him."

They are many clear obvious errors in the Quran.
Here's a few:
- the sun set in a muddy spring (Quran 18:84-91, Sunan Abu Dawud 399)
- sperms originate between the backbone and ribs (Quran 86:6-7)
- meteors are actually the same as stars in the sky but fired at the devil. (Quran 37:6-10)
- there is a resting/stopping place for the Sun (Quran 36: 38, Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 54, Number 421)

لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦ - is what you are referring to. It's pronounced something like "KALAMOU - BADYLLA LI-KALIMA-TEE" It is part of Surah Al-Kahf verse 27.

Actually i have a friend at mywork and he is a muslim, we have respectful conversation and i was trying to translate your video here into a word document. Putting the truth of the word of God the difference with the sources of the apocryphe that is in the Qran i also have other sourates that talks about the bible being the word of God etc..

He understands english but i really wanted to make him a document with what is an apocryphe, why are those books not in the bible and really making him a complete document that he can actually study and see for himself.. while putting the informations that is in this particular video that you have...
