    If you want strong families, you fight poverty. If you want to reduce crime, you fight poverty. If you want an educated, empowered population, you fight poverty. If you want to reduce racism and climate change, you fight poverty. If you want better housing and healthcare, you fight poverty. If you want a strong happy, healthy country, you fight poverty.

      I think I'd like the way that all sounds more by saying "support" instead of fight.

I’m sorry, but the fact that these people are psychologist which are some of the most openly liberal minded people and yet you’re telling them to stay out of politics because it doesn’t benefit or favor your ideology just proves that your philosophy and ideology kind of stinks. I’m not trying to be the mean guy in the group, but if you’re argument, false flat the only way for your philosophy, ideology or political belief to even be moderately successful is if all the other intellectual thinkers, philosophers and therapists were to keep their mouth shut and not speak up about it then you have what is considered authoritarian Regime. Of philosophy, ideology and political viewpoint aren’t allowed to be given the same level of criticism as you or your political viewpoint isn’t allowed to be criticized as harshly as the others that you criticize yourself then you’re just being a hypocrite. You’re just trying to give into that Mentality that makes it sound good to your own ego instead of actually following politics because of your own ideals and values in common interest for what is what you believe is better for society as a whole and that includes the people that you politically opposed against. I honestly think that Supports David Packman don’t realize that they follow more like mentality than they realize and that’s why David Packman was kicked off and burned bridges with so many left leaning political over CZcams as well as mainstream media because he doesn’t know when to shut his mouth and be respectful because he wants to think his ideas and philosophy, and political viewpoints never been tried before in our always the 100% right answer when they’re not.

    • @adakahless
      @adakahless Před 3 měsíci

      @@joy1ess It's actually a lack of education that increases birth rates. The more educated will factor in financial costs and logistics of having a child, and won't likely have one. Poverty stricken Africa has lead to angry men not making enough to support a family so they go get drunk, rape their wives who go on to birth children, thereby compounding the problem of not being able to afford them. The more educated women are taking control of their lives, having a career or supporting their families in other ways. It's true even in America where the more educated the person, more likely they refuse to have children or will wait until they are financially stable to do it. Nevermind that housing is not as available and there are more apartment buildings than single family homes now.

      His argument was out of line from the start, but it is a debate tactic. Not a very honorable one, to say the least. Because he stated something where we are forced to agree with him. Now that we are on agreeable terms it is easier to take this agreeable thing and compare it to something unagreeable. Now we are more likely to agree to this aswell, due to the established consensus of agreeing with the one presenting the case. It's weird to explain and I forgot how this type of argument was called again. One thing is certain though: This is a tactic to persuade not to convice.
      It was never about being reasonable. It was about him trying to force us to shut up and not demand change. It would have been easy to debunk this, if David would have asked him if he would agree, that a hypothetical "A. Hitler School" should keep it's name. Because that is exactly what he is arguing for. If he is trying to play it dirty, we have to put im on the spot and challenge the fundamental idea he is arguing for.

Listen and see if they have any golden nugget ideas and discuss why or why not they may work and then share your solutions and discuss why or why not they might work. Learn from each other and work together for win-win solutions where possible. This is one of the great America ideas I grew up being taught. Never to cancel or stonewall someone. Rather, seek to understand even when you don't agree. Let's teach our children to have those kinds of hearts when it comes to sharing ideas and personal beliefs. I agree with Dr. Phil - This headline is misleading. Simple conversation. No confrontation.

      I'm a subcriber to Packman, and yes, the headline is exaggerated. Obviously, one has to grab people's attention to watch, but I was disappointed by that, as well as some of the "Gotcha" elements. Whether you're a fan or not of Dr. Phil (I'm indifferent), he seemed overall to be transparent; his honesty in the beginning of the interview about politics I found disarming, and therefore, I was more open to listen to what he had to say.....

      @@danielc1978 he made that the headline for damage control.
      90% of headlines get repeated without ever bring clicked on.
      It's not for clicks. It's for perception and until people like you can quit ignorantly believing in the good intentions they have when there's none.

      @@manuelperez9764 Not really. He just gave thoughtful enough answers to natural questions. David gave him the opportunity to speak about things he cared about. the follow-up questions where thoughtful and helped clarify the the claims made.

      They confuse “woke” the world changing and evolving with politics. 50 years ago it was rock n roll’s fault. Before that it was witchcraft. This is a common trend the world changes we can’t make it great again! Different time’s different cultures. Let the past go create a wonderful future

      @Igotstaknowit It's worth highlighting the relationship between the Catholic church and a certain German political party who were led by an Austrian, organised religion and extremism tend to be welcome bedfellows in the modern era.

      Man, I'm kind of ashamed of being linked with liberals and progressives the way guys like you are posting such broad condemnations. It's not "organized religion" but many evangelicals and supposed Christians leading churches across the country who are saps for trump. To present a broad condemnation using a term like "organized religion" makes you seem as simple-minded as most of the MAGAts. At least try to write something with more careful delineation in it.

      @@billybobthornton9668 Yes, the Catholic church has been in bed with many hideous dictators and corrupt politics for centuries, and the church's despicable handling of sexual predators in its clergy is a very modern atrocity. Having a more liberal pope doesn't erase that or make up for the offenses.
