600+ Kms on DAY 1 - Delhi to Jammu | ZANSKAR on Kawasaki Z900 with NOMADS

The much awaited Zanskar ride took off on 16th September 2023 at 5:30 am from Mukarba Chowk , Delhi. After a mishap with one of our riders last year, this ride had to be postponed . The jinx continued this year too when our chief had to withdraw from the ride at the last moment due to health issues and it seemed that this ride wouldn't've take place. But somehow the core members decided to make the ride possible despite many issues.

P.S- the time taken to travel includes the mandatory breaks for refreshments.
Day 1- Delhi to Jammu
650 Kms in 14 hours
Since there is nothing much to see around while riding on this route, after Jalandhar, the ride seemed never ending. To make it worse, entire stretch from Lakhanpur border till Samba was under construction with dust all around. Similar conditions prevailed in Jammu too. Currently the Katra-Amritsar-Delhi expressway project is undergoing at war scale so this inconvenience is temporary. After crashing into our beds in a luxury hotel, we forgot all the adversities of day 1.
