      My teacher wouldn't talk to me about making up a quiz I missed, he walked away from while I tried to talk to him. So I left to go to my next class. I never made up that quiz, I got pissed. I know I shouldn't hold a grudge, but he gets mad at me when I ask questions now. Every time I ask for help with a question, he just fixes it for me instead of letting me go back and trying to solve it myself. He makes me feel like shit. He once made me cry because I didn't finish a test. He doesn't believe I have ADHD just because my parents won't have go to the school to say I officially have it.
      Long story short, math class is a living hell. These videos are keeping me going. God bless Brian McLogan because I'd be lost without these videos.

    When he first moved the constant “-13 to the other side he changed it to positive so if my constant is positive 1 do I change it to negative??

    • @maxwellsmith1251
      @maxwellsmith1251 Před 3 lety

      To get rid of -13 in the left side he had to add +13 to both sides. -13 + 13 is 0, and he had to add the same value to the other side to keep the equation even. When getting rid of something on one side to move it to the other, you always add the opposite of it. If you want to move x to the other side you need to add -x to both x itself and the other side.
      Hopefully this makes sense.
