I shall actually being doing the route for real next month on a rail tour. A bit of further info for you: at 1:20:55 is the former site of Long Eaton station. The current Long Eaton station is actually in Sawley! Also, as you stop at Toton, the bridge in the distance was the location for the Sandiacre and Stapleford station.
Lovely route through Staffordshire into Nottinghamshire.
I'd love to see more electrified lines,but with lots of 66's in operation it doesn't make sense at the moment.

Thanks For that. Have done 3 stints working at Toton in my career. First one being in 1990 and finished in 2017.

Yes occasionally. There was also a time when the last St Pancras Derby would go that way as well.
Castle Donnington such a beautiful area and not far from Loughborough (Leicestershire)
It was used extensively a few years ago whilst Derby Station was being rebuilt.
No more class 47 with the coal at Rugeley
It was all 20's 56's , 58's and 60's in my day....
