ASW-G-66 Gundam Kimaris Vidar

- After Vidar removed his mask and revealed himself to be Gaelio Bauduin, the Gundam Vidar was retrofitted into the Gundam Kimaris Vidar, reclaiming the name Kimaris. This conversion was conducted quickly as it was planned from the beginning. The Gundam Vidar's Alaya-Vijnana Type E was retained, but the third Ahab Reactor was purged as it only served to hide the suit's true identity, which is no longer needed. The Gundam Kimaris Vidar is meant for the decisive battle against McGillis Fareed and his Gundam Bael. This variation of the Kimaris has existed since the Calamity War era.
The Gundam Kimaris Vidar's equipment is the same as those used in the Calamity War era, and meant to give it an advantage in zero-gravity combat, making it the polar opposite of the Gundam Kimaris Trooper, whose equipment is meant for ground combat. Besides having a drill lance and a sword as its main weapons, Kimaris Vidar is also armed with a pair of drill knee and two shields. With its variety of weapons, the suit has the potential to be used in any range, and is considered to have a high level of completion amongst the Kimaris’ variations. Like the Gundam Kimaris and Gundam Kimaris Trooper, the Gundam Kimaris Vidar's primary battle style involves hit-and-run attacks with its lance.

I love its head design. It looks like a spartan helmet and it's badass this way.

@@claresaprama499 Gaelio did survive the death once, not only he survived death he also used Eins brain for his Alaya-Vijnana System Type E which remove the limiter and gave him twice of data processing during combat that enhances Mobile Suit performance by a miles away unlike Mcgillis that piloted Bael with limiter still untouched.. Basically Mcgillis isn't capable enough to remove the limiter like Mikazuki did with Barbatos...

@@frostmistgamingThat's partially incorrect. Alaya-Vijnana Type E system let's Ein brain take over Gaelios body for combat, so it's more of a hybrid system. Kimaris doesn't go red eye so it's still limited. Alaya-Vijnana Type E has issues with melee combat so McGillis still has the advantage. We didn't see the full extent of the system until the end when Gaelios fully submitted to the system, but it's still miles behind Mika/Barbatos.

@mania1927 agnika got so famous bc he only used his swords and the Equipment on the Bael with so much skill that he killed multiple Mobile armors and plumas
Mc gillis wanted to emulate him bc he looks up to agnika and the bael
He also never changed bael bc he wanted it to be as close to the original as possible

Probably one of my favorite gundam frame from the anime
I find it hilarious at Gaelio mocking his enemies for being pawns yet he is a pawn of Rustal Elion as if he is an equal to Arianrhod Fleet supreme leader who just needed an attack dog with the right tools.
Except he's not, his only goal is revenge, it's even in his name "Vidar". He is fighting not for Rustal, but revenge for himself, his sister, his close friend, and the lady he loved. It's just that working with Rustal will help him achieve his goals.

You completely missed the point.
It’s because of Gaelio’s Simple Brain and need for Revenge that Blinds him to being so Loyal to Gjallohorn! So Yes! He did become an Attack Dog for Rustal!
And by the end, he actually becomes remorseful, as Gaelio did not understand McGillis’ Ideal.

Watching this again you can see all the hits that Bael swords took, McGillis was so arrogant that i doubt he realized how wear down they were, thats why he lost
We need a 1/100 scale of this Gundam. Either a MG, a Full Mechanics, or probably an RE/100. Seriously I need one to pose with my Full Mechanics Bael

I love the drill knees so much. Someone grabbed the lance? Have an equally deadly knee that'll fuck them up. Also the color scheme 🤤🤤
Conceptually, the weapon is terrible were it not specifically designed for this purpose. His foot blades from Kimaris Vidar are actually better objectively as weapons since they can strike from odd angles and have a wider range of motion. But this ridiculous weapon is designed so that if you do get through his lance, he can just shove something within cockpit range and go back to fighting. It is also unlikely for his enemies to get him from behind since he's a high speed model designed to charge straight through a battlefield.

キマリスヴィダールは宇宙用のキマリスで厄祭戦当時の姿だよ。勘違いされることが多いけど1期のキマリスが式典用でトルーパーが地上用って感じ

マッキー強いなぁ。バエルは厄災戦当時のままとはいえ殆ど武装がなくリミッターも解除してないのに、アイン脳の恩恵でバルバトス相当の反応速度にリミッター解除してそうなキマリスが武装を根こそぎ使って辛勝だもん。
一期の時点で普通にガエリオを圧倒できる程度に強いといっても、ここまでやって辛勝って。

0:15 interesting, the HG doesn't have the back thrusters where the shield fins are. I'll have to correct that when I build it. Still my favorite mobile suit though.

バエルは全く活躍してないから…みたいなこと言われがちだけど種死時点でのデスティニーとかシュバルゼッテとかよりは全然マシだと思うの、ってかバエル対キマヴィダ個人的に鉄血で一番好きな対戦だし
What do think is this the calamity war version like mcgillis had said or is it just the variant of kimaris?
This kimaris equipment seem to be the closest to what it use in calamity war
@@levietanhle915 so its not the calamity war ver and the first one that appear in season 1 i asked a lot about these version
Kimaris Vidar is the calamity war version according to the kit manual and some technical works book.
Kimaris form 1 from season 1 was probably a post-war downgrade or an alternate equipment set used for light high speed space combat as opposed to the all out heavy space combat KV is kitted out for. And Trooper is built for ground combat.
I like to think all three existed during the calamity war, with the equipment being changed depending on the situation.
Galahorn Banned the dainslef so they stripper them of the gundams
I find it disgusting how they are the first to Use it against humans
They attacked the Turbines with it bc they were blamed for the flauos firing it at an Mobile Armor/its plumas (something it was desinged for and should had been okay to do so)
And then they used it on Rebellin gallahorn forces just bc they Fell like it
Then Label humans as Monsters so that you have an justification to use it
I know its war but breaking rules you set up at the first place just to brake it is not an good immage

武装は文献まちまちなバエルソードと申し訳程度のウイングの砲
唯一上な点と言えば当時の阿頼耶識でデメリットなしに機体性能を引き出せる程度
