I always look for your mileage test videos. They are genuine and are very very practical. Thanks for such nice videos
Awesome review and Range Test. Battery 1% Bachne ke bad mere ko Dhak - Dhak ho rha tha ki Ab Kya hoga ,
But I like it . small Family ke liye best EV car hai 300km range ke sath.
I like the HONESTY Of Gaurav. 👍👍👍
Great work with the mileage test and pointing out stuff like the lack of rear seat load sensor and front left leg knee room.. impressed.
290 on highway great range with AC.
I could see the speed he was driving between 75-90kph.
If you maintain speed of 60-65 in highways. You would end up with 320 to 330km range.
ARAI Range is obtained by driving at 25-30kph at constant speed. in my sense 60-65kph is decent. If you dont eanna cruise. 70-75kph may give 300-310km range. If you cruise more than 80kph speed
Youll end up with 270-290 range only.
I haven't deiven ev car
But have driven Ev scooter ather for past 4.5 years. I have trsted the range in various speeds.
Ather has top speef of ,80kph
So when i drove at 40-45kph ..i got best range with decent seped.
Primised was 75 km
I got 85-90km
Arai was 109km.
Battery depreciates after 20000km in two wheelers..same haooened for my scooter too. It fell down by 10-15 percent after 20k km. Once it used to give me 80-90km at 40-45kph.
Now just 65-70km only. But the batteyr tech changed . I have used NMC battery which is prone to thermal runaway and has less charge cycles. 600-1000 only.
But all EV are equipped with Lifepo4 battery which are of less density than NMC and can withstand more temp .has more than 3000 charge cycles. Thats y tata gives 8years warranty on motor and battery. No ones gonna recharge 3000 times in 8 years. Only people who that is cab or regular travells who travel 150-200km per day.
Driving at speeds below 80 is not possible in real time (highways) especially, lets say we drive it at max performance for the whole charge drain, that would be a suitable range calculation based on real time conditions. We will never reach our destinations compared to the petrol or diesel variants, which come with the benefits of 1 min fuel time. The cost of owning an ev is leisure not emergency.
After 8 or 9 years of warranty period, battery would have to be replaced right and that cost (possibly for the 2nd or 3rd owner) would nullify all savings they made over a traditional petrol or diesel car...😏😪
@@oommenthms2728have you replaced engine of your ICE car ( If you haven't owned one, anyone you know) after normal warranty of 1 laks km? Consider worst serviced tata ICE engine itself.
@@shibilkp
Well everyone knows that's not required as ICE have multiple components and those could be replaced when damaged like cylinder head, piston rings, gaskets, etc and those don't cost above 6-7k per component, unless they are from mersc, audis, bmws and other luxury brands. No ones mentioned anything about the batteries, have have they? And we have multiple videos on CZcams where EV owners are being slapped with heavy bills on battery replacement after warranty periods especially in the US!!!
Don't compare your EV scooter with a EV car.
Thermal runaway on scooters like ather is because of poor bms and thermal management.
Cars are liquid cooled and bms is way more advanced in managing thermal issues
The original Hyundai ioniq had a degradation of 5% in 2.2L kms of driving. And that was the older NMC tech. Now the newer NMC batteries are far more energy dense and safer than before. LFP batteries used in tata unfortunately are too heavy and affect range
Batteries are meant to last 20 year's easily
Great video gaurav 👍
Bhai apki video se clarity milti hai always... Good work brother
You are the first one who took the car with great confidence and finished to 0% from 100%. No one takes this much courage.
the 25kwh battery version will have lesser weight so you can't extrapolate the range directly. You had a golden opportunity to charge the car and show us the charging speed.
34161 Wh gives 289.5km @ 118wh/km . 10,000Wh on smaller punch is saving about 80kg . If we ignore 80kg person, the mileage is 24161Wh / 118(Wh/km) = 204 km . So 209km is realistic
My Request onto Your Channel For Punch.Ev range test Is Solve Now
I'm very Happy❤❤
Gaurav ji your review is excellent
Me aapke review ka hi wait karta hu.
If range anxiety can be solved! Then EVs can really shine.
Easy...carry a small portable generator!!
every 4 years. 😂
You need to carry petrol and buy a portable generator also when you own an EV in India as charging stations do not literally exist, so that way you can also charge the car.😅 - range anxiety solved.😅
@@enigmaume That even happens in America, no wonder why it wouldn't happen in India. I really do not think we can reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. At least not in the near future.
It can be solved you just have pay the price
What a fantastic finish at 0% SoC!!!
Most awaited video since punch ev launch want to see this video..
Aap se best koi hai hi nhi best range test
Great video as always
Bhai apka review bhut accha hotta h bilkul practically
Bhai apne bht acchi video banaye accha laga dekh k aur bht kuch clear hogya thankyou
Bhai ne asli feel diya viewers ko range anxiety ka. Haha. Luckily I guess unhe bhi pata tha shayad he would reach back lekin we all had a nail biting moment here. This is actually a very informative video. The best so far on punch considering what all you have covered sir. And finally the approx range of both vehicles and their difference of 90 km is actually a good piece of info, kyunki LR ya SR lena hai ye is difference se user decide kar sakta hai. Cost difference is good between them. All the best for your future videos! Looking forward for more!
Good work bro, like the clarity of tone & info! Best wishes
Thanks Gaurav Bhai great video 👍
Aa gye hamare gaurav bhai.. real range test lekar.. I was eagerly waiting for this video❤❤
08:54 what a movement Tata legend passing by its current Gen ❤❤
Excellent Review thanks
Finally range test video
Finally wait is over ❤❤❤❤❤❤
In the real world 35kw long battery pack gives you 200 km range with ac and music on. Soch lo.
The wait is over.Thank you for the clear info.
whenever I want to see mileage test sir I just come to Ur channel ur the best honest and always do proper test of cars love the part that u always update range while driving no other channel do which thing ur best sir :)
Thanks a ton
Excellent review
You never disappoint us.
Very good सर जी आपके वीडियो देख कर विश्वाश किया जाता है
Video achi lagi 😊
Perfect video
Wow 😲 Amazing car. Tata has come a long way specially in last couple of years.
What I like about this channel is the Mileage test. Thanks, Gaadiwaadi.
Really good video
after Hindustan Motors and Premier Padmini era, Maruti Suzuki 800 1983 revolutionized car market. Similarly TATA revolutionized EV market.
At 120 wh/km consumption I feel the problem is with using Cruise Control. EVs can be driven slightly differently even when keeping highway safe speeds. Suitable regen(L1 for highway) and coasting when available should easily add 10% range.
Cruise control isn't aggressive in tata. It's equivalent to eco mode , the problem however is that tata cruise control using brakes instead of regen to slow down. Inefficient way of slowing down
@@nujjigram Depends on the terrain, if terrain has too many ramps I have seen the car overdoing to catch up to speed, but yes you are right with the slowing down part.
Bro give first video of any new launch car❤hats off sir❤🎉
Thanks A Million for this information.
Glad it was helpful!
You are best drive review all CZcams industry ❤
🌟Perfect Entry Level Electric Hatchback For Indian Market......300+ Range Is Easily Achievable, Sensible Buy Over Tigor or Even Nexon EV.

Gaurav Bhai Majja Aa Gaya 👌
Exciting finish, nail biting like a 2 run 1 ball situation in cricket ! Amazing review as always :) Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very fact 0:28 full test..good
Waited for this..
290km is a good range and after adding all the features, I think this is a EV that can be the only car of a household.
Ghanta, 15 lac for only 280 km is hilariously low, in 15 lac I can have harrier or creta, or seltos or Scorpio or many more products. This is absolutely ridiculous pricing. This should not be more than 8 lac on road. Useless product.
@@RaunakPSingh 290km range available from 13 L.
Harrier is 18 L on road for the base model, scorpio 17L , creta & seltos 14.8 L & not to forget the fuel cost.
A single full tank of harrier will cost you 5.5k, which is the cost of running this ev for 6 months.
Any technically sound person will know that EVs are cutting edge tech, hence will be pricier but will save money in the long run. Goodluck finding an 300km range ev in 8 L 👍

Yeaaaah

Good job dude 👌🙏
Excellent 👌
Informative video 🎉
Glad you liked it!
I'm waiting for it after launch. I know you peeps will do it. And it was released today. Thank you for the effort.
Hope you enjoy it!
Best video
Superb ... The only words I can use to describe the Punch EV. TATA has nailed it, with the Nexon and the Punch. Interiors are way better than most cars in this segment and features are at par or better than the segment. Way to go, TATA !! Great coverage, Gaurav.
You videos are very crystal clear for making a proper decision
Awesome ❤ review...fall in love with you r channel 😊😊😊
Yay! Thank you!
Best review. I had taken a test drive of this car. Left knee problem is there which is a deal breaker
Wow gaurav bhai ❤
Realistic mileage check. Thanks gaurav
so quick! 👏
Hope you like it!
Thanks you Gaurav Sir for detailed mileage test videos of various cars. Keep it up the good work.
Request and Would be helpful if you also do mileage test of DCA Altroz, 1.5 kushaq, slavia, virtus etc. Automatic and others.
Will try
Very brilliant range test.... Range is not adequate for micro SUV . Price is high according micro UV.
Xuv400 short range ka range test bhi baki hai.. it will be a good comparison with punch long range.. since bothe have same capacity battery pack
Thank you
Really good review and test. But EVs are luxury items for most of us.
I would say 240 km is the more realistic and more over safe range rather than the final range you obtained. So around 76% of what tata has claimed. As the car ages it will fall more.
There's a deprecation factor if it depreciates more than that they replace it
Cost of battery kya Hai after 8 to 10yrs ?
@@gourabdeb895 8, 10 saal baad ka abhi kuch bata nahi sakte par cost tab tak kam hona chahiye agar ev gaadiyo ka future raha to
220 with full family and luggage
This was the lr version, claimed range is 421. As a general rule ev cars can run around 60% of their claimed range. From 100 to 0% battery.
Very nice reviews sir ji 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks a ton
Game changer 👌👌👌🔥🔥🔥
Best hai sir ❤
An honest review Gaurav ji, gaadi not so good
The 290km range is good ❤
It's a perfect car for people who travel 100-150km daily
Long travel will be easy if charging infrastructure is made available at every petrol station
Looking forward to more future enhancements to stretch the range to 350-400 ❤
Waiting for this
so here it is
1% on Airport Flyover of Bengaluru - Bahot Himmat hai bhai aapko 💥💥💥
Majboori ban gayi thi ye Himaat 😜
Nice review. Should HV added more about thigh support and confirmed if ventilation was set as on. Price is certainly high by Rs.80,000-1,20,000 for the 35kw - car aspiration premium, is a kill joy for sales.
🙏 बहुत अच्छा है. 💕
Loved the car
We bought one. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Really like its charming front look, still practically I refer petrol one with electric one's front look.
Expected a usual first Video on Marvick440..
Sir how do you get cars for tests?
Good work its realistic in highway in ciy it will be using its regeneration mode
I love in Gurgaon for my work and my hometown is lucknow which is around 550 km via agra express way... waiting for two things,
500 km + range
Infrastructure for ev fast charging on the petrol pumps
That's all I'm looking for
Don't expect mercedes class luxury for 15 lakhs....Tata punch is for common normal middle class family for traveling daily within the city❤❤❤❤❤
12:09 beautiful Scene of Two Beauty 😍
Punch Ev ke features aur look awesome hai per gaurav sir iske top varient ka prize thoda jada hai ....range tast ho mileage ya kisi bhi gaadi ka review apse best abhi tak koe nhi karta hai 😊
Lena na dena ..Khali fokat 😂😂
My Tiago EV LR with a claimed range of 315 kms gives me roughly around 220kms, with almost always three heavy adults and luggage. He had put it in the sports mode and tried to test the top speed, that reduces charge like crazy. This should easily do the range it showed in the beginning, around 315-320 kms. Just make sure you keep the wh/km under 100
This is exactly what I was thinking. This range test is good but not with a consistent speed. I'm sure 320-340 is possible with a consistent speed
Companies should focus on sedan EVs because sedans are more aerodynamic also we can fit more batteries in a sedan.
Wait for another 2-3 years, there will be remarkable achievements in range as well as cost with alternate battery materials and so on. But this will keep on evolving as like their ancestors ICE versions. Two years back and now, there are good progress and 2-3 years from now almost every car makers will be offering EV
I Love Tata Punch EV ❤
Bhai ev me Tata punch nexon Konsi le ya curv ev kab aane wali he pls guide
Finally❤❤❤
WOOOOOOOOOOOOW
Nice range test Gaurav bhaiya of tata punch ev agar Inn electric gaadiyon mein kuch features kam hojaye jaise Led drl ka always on rehna ya phir 50% battery range mein aate hi instrument cluster ki brightness auto dim hojana toh shayad yeh gaadi aur acha range nikalegi
wo sab bonet ke andar wali dusri battery se chalta hai usse range pe asar nahi padega
Nice
Sir watching in Pakistan ❤
It is a super comfortable car pretty economical. Very very comfortable. Stop bothering about charging STN. Everything can be fine
The range should have been atleast 280 with full load this seems low for intercity travel
The weight of Punch is it's biggest enemy 😅
This test is on highway, so in city drive it will definitely get more than 290km range.
U r video 📷 capture like a movie
Good
Sir isme piche load sensors hain.
I'm an Tata Tigor EV owner, drove car 22k in 1.5 year. As gen 1 customer of Tata Ev I can say tata has not done much change in overall mechanism of car. Yes there is change in design and interior but not much change in overall range.
How much range you're getting in your car
Good❤❤
I think 300 kms/charge is good as it allows user to travel reasonable distance. What is important is higher quick charge, so range anxiety can be addressed.
please bring full range test for shorter range too🙏🙏
