its crazy when you understand the routing... for example at 52:27 the KnB bus is a sum of 808 + KICK channels and its peaking 4.9db above 0.He sends this to the console I guess and gets back the signal at the MUSIC bus.
Literally just peeped this but didn’t think about the console distortion!!! What do you think we can use as a substitute?? Waves NLS maybe?🤔

@@najee2123 the virtual channel and virtual mixbuss from slate digital virtual mix rack plugin is phenomenal, I have seen illangelo use them in the stero bus of after hours (the weeknd album) mixes

I’m crazy late to this video and as a brand new engineer I’ve gotten a lot of gems in this video and trying to recreate the routing (digitally ofc). I agree to some degree with the live he can’t talk but if he edited this CZcams and narrated what he was doing would of been great but for now just try to pay as much attention as possible to understand what he’s doing. Great video

lmfao the vocal chain is part of the mix. Its the signal flow that is specific to the vocals in the mix. wow buddy, listen more talk less. @@garbygarb31
