- Texture soothes my eyes and soul, I’m not sure why, and letting my hands go free, creating a painting of lights and shadows, makes it even better.
I just came back from a visit to my parents’ home. Usually, when I’m with my family, I don’t manage to edit or post much, and living abroad creates this back-and-forth movement, sending me in different directions.
Sometimes, when I stop working, creating, and carving, I get a bit anxious, fearing I might lose that movement, that state of flow. But seeing my family did give me some strength for the next few weeks to come. When I look at it in the end, I manage to create a whole new beautiful texture, that soothes my soul in its own balanced way.
This track in the background was composed and played by my brother, who sends me some of his pieces from time to time to use for my videos. I truly appreciate that. ♥️🙏🏾
Beautiful like always!
Wow
Awesome texture
To me it's like echoing the tree it came from
Bro oiled up his wood
Very beautiful. Is this basswood?
Sorry, you already said ash wood
Amazing. Will there be a full video creating this? Thanks!
Unfortunately not for this one 😕
Looks cool! How many coats do you use? I tend to use a wood conditioner that mainly beeswax and mineral oil that i got locally
I usually do only one, but mainly because I forget to put more😅 sounds like a nice combination 🤔😁
What is that oil? Is there any online shop to buy?
its walnut oil
It’s walnut oil that I bought I a nature shop, the same one you use for salads (:
