Writing this using 555 on Tumbleweed, it's looking really good so far. Finally able to use Wayland! And the beauty of this distro and btrfs is if anything messes up snapper rollback to the rescue.

on pure Arch with plasma 6, no more flickering... so now my desktop is permanently on Wayland - finally! thank you for the video

Wayland with 555 on kde fedora is working mostly well. Using backported explicit sync patches caused the Firefox issue though.I still cant get gsync to engage in games though. The environment variable fix made Firefox performance terrible so ive downgraded back

I found this video after trying to install Cachy OS. The installer WILL NOT boot. I get the option to choose what video mode I want and just a black screen after that. Doesn't matter what option I choose. Super sad. lol

@@A1RM4X I actually ended up figuring it out. It didn’t like my Intel raid array I have for windows dual boot. Had to disable Intel Rapid Storage completely and it boots. Still having issues with other stuff but it’s a good start.
