Lay All My Troubles Aside

I wrote the lyric to this song based simply on a photograph from a magazine. The photo was of a beach somewhere on the west coast of Scotland and it just seemed to be a peaceful place when you could forget all your troubles.
I passed the lyric on to my friend Dave Spittal, who lives in Peru. He put a tune to it and sent me a recording of him singing it. I loved it and put the video together using footage I had taken over several visits to places such as Sheigra, Oldshoremore, Sandwood Bay, Durness and St KIlda.
