Hearing the appreciation for the gyms and E4 rooms was great. Kalos is my favourite region because of how nice it looks, but people only see the negatives like the "easy level curve" and desaturated models

I know, I personally like Gen 6, all 4 Games sadly were a bit easy and not all Sprites got a good treatment in 3d
But the Games are really interesting and I'd love to have had a hard mode like in Gen 5 for replay value

I liked Y well enough, but *for all that is holy please buff the Gym Leaders* It was beyond insulting that they capped out at 3 Pokemon each and had no Megas at all. Like, I have a Mega by Gym 4 at worst, give it to at least the last 4 Leaders.

I kinda liked the idea of all pokémon being available and the opponents having full teams but man, the easy availability of legendaries and those invisible grass patches just kinda killed it for me.
Yeah… that sucks. I’d recommend eternal x if you want to experience x with all Pokémon, I’m pretty sure it has them all.

Let alone people are gonna feel tempted to overlevel in the same way people feel tempted to use broken weapons and abilities in other games. It's bad game design. Most nuzlockers actually have a rule against overlevling and play strategically to avoid exceeding a level cap!! I don't understand why you're being so hostile! If you don't like the design choices the dev made...don't play it? These roms are free, man

my first ever random shiny was a purple wurmple i found outside the petalburgh woods in alpha sapphire. i remember being so happy and it brought a smile to my face to see that model again. doesn't feel like its been 9 years since that game came out. i enjoy shiny hunting a lot now but I wonder if people get the same feeling when they find a shiny for the first time in a game like scarlet/violet for newer or younger fans

Childhood Pokémon game getting the attention it deserves!!! Playing a similar ROM called Wilting Y right now while my cousin is trying to Nuzlocke it’s counterpart, Eternal X. I say try because he hasn’t even reached the first gym on any of his attempts.
my favorite gen 6 mon is noivern line! used it as part of my team in pokemon y and also became one of my aces in a Pokémon fan game called Pokemon rejuvenation.
I've never forgotten X and Y just started my X new after finishing the DLC from Scarlet. The greatest L in X and Y is the difficulty and that the game that introduced megas didn't gave them to the gym leaders and not even the elite four, only the Champ. The style and design of the cities in Kalos are really beautiful. These games needed a Romhack really badly to make them difficult and I like that hack
X and Y also gave us awesome shinies like Trevenant and Tyrantrum and the bacon bird Yveltal
Lysandre also got mega evolution and uses it in his last battle with the main character.
Like we unlock it by rebattling a gym leader who used a mega Mon of their type like just use it in the gym and give it to us with the badge
I played through X and found it difficult in a few places. The one Pokemon at the reactor with the two buttons was tough because I could not find its weakness. One of the Elite Four I really struggled with, I think it was the fire one. When I did a Nuzlocke of X after that I only lost three Pokemon. I would say the game has a little bite for first timers.
The box legends from Kalos are heat both in design and battle ability. Honestly might be my favorites. Character customization and region gimmick were both great. I think it gets more hate than it deserves, but it's valid. The games were cakewalks even as a kid.
I love pokemon X and Y i remember me and my friend would play on the bus to school i had pokemon Y and she had pokemone X we would battle every day on the way to and from school. She would beat me most of the time lol, I also remember always loving Greninja and Aegislash, those 2 pokemon were always on my team no matter what.

I mean, Carbink was my first ever Shiny, full odds too, in Sun and Moon (started playing with Gen 5 and yes, Black and White 2 are obviously my favorite Pokemon games), so I guess that that would be my first choice, but I do actually love almost all of the Gen 6 Pokemon. If I had to say, without Shiny bias, my favorite would probably be Chesnaught, I just love the Big fella.
I know an odd amount of Pokemon fans hate on X and Y, but I personally think these were the best of the entire series. Also, please start linking these romhacks.
Facts, X and Y are slept on.
There are certain aspects why they're hated. Like the leveling system, lack of post game stuff, lack of challenging encounters and ofcourse lack of mega evolution encounters(a form this game or series introduced) etc.
Tyrantrum is peak pokemon design
I love how they implemented the feathers on the design,since some Dinosaurs had feathers according to scientific studies incluiding the T-Rex,althought the existence of feathers on the Rex it's still being debated

Phantump has to be the best gen 6 pokemon. Awesome design with a creepy story. The spirit of deceased children possesses a tree stump, looking for friends. Then evolves into Trevenant who is a forest spirit that protects nature by binding whoever harms the forest in there forever.

For me it's split between Trevenant, Clawitzer, and Chesnaught.

I actually do not recall the term Mythical existing in the early generations. It was around generation 4 where the term started to catch on. Then again that is when I first found the Pokemon community online so maybe people were just using the wrong term calling Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew all Legendaries.
