BIMx taking its first baby steps into realizing its true collaboration potential is promising. Will the desktop version still lack push update functionality? That would be disappointing. Our firm would also love for Graphisoft to understand of sheer volume of info that comes in the form of outside PDFs during the construction administration process and how clunky it is to include those currently (we place each pdf page separately in the layout book and publish that). Ideally the BIMx file should be the single stop for client and contractor during construction

Loving the new GDL editor. Having used other software environments this is such as useful feature. The ability to have design options is a definite winner for house builders with standard floor plans and alternative facades. And FBX in/out, that is awesome if you're using Unity or similar software.

Another year another disappointment. They are trying to copy Revit with the dynamic dimensioning but ending up having a half assed solution (more tedious than it needs to be. The feature needs to be part of the dimension tool), the design options is just a slightly more integrated version of what's already in 25, a bunch of 'workflow' related nonsense with Enscape, export FBX option which was already available previously through datasmith but was removed, incremental improvements to OpenBIM while the RVT export option is still half baked (everything is exported as generic models, which is useless). If it wasn't for CI tools, our office would have switched over to Revit years ago. I already know how our next quarterly software meeting is going to go.

They still do nothing with the point cloud issue, ArchiCAD gives real problems with this type of files, the program is very limited compared to Revit that even contains tools that help to manage this type of files without weight limitation. ArchiCAD is lagging about 8 years behind in this area, and has real problems with medium sized files... It is a pity that they are not able to optimise and make a real update and improvement on this point. first, fix the directX problem - because of that crapy display driver i cant work with ac26, despite i am paying for it. when i pan, all elements are flickering … and in one year, no fix … wtf an when i change from one viewport to another (no change of anything) and then back, ac recalculates and i cant work for some time. and all the bugs. openings (windows, doors) are so outdate and poor to manage. if you try to work with the function ‚trace‘ (pfd in the background) it will bog down the fastest pc … dont buy this software!

It's honestly not exaggerated. Archicad is becoming like Sketchup - bullsh*t "improvements" just to keep you entertained.
Also losing the race of automation and smart addons.
We thought this only happened over in the Revit community. Well, at least you guys finally got options 20 years after Revit.
there is still no option to sync attributs with hotlinks - bentleys microstation had this in 2001 … archicad is in many ways just a joke

If these are the only updates, there is no point upgrading!!! especially, after ArchiCAD 25, there is no great update that is worth waiting for.
