Met him several times, he was a very nice man and he will be sorely missed.
So will Clark Gillies and Mike Bossy. Since they played the Islanders in this game, we should honor them. Of course if it weren't for guys like them, New York wouldn't have no cup banners hanging.

Being a Canadian girl, hockey is the only sport I've ever liked - when I was little girl I used to love playing hockey on the driveway and watching my brother play too. When he would get a goal I would say "yah!! it's an Esposito" that's what I thought a goal was called 😊. Tony is one of the first goalies I ever remember ❤️. I am honoured to have watched a game at the United Centre against the Toronto Maple Leafs back in 1996!
