The Jamaica's strategy was to put their best 100m runners on first and second leg to give them a big lead. But the USA won the race in the middle.(Allyson and Myers is the deadliest line up i have ever seen).Kerron really flew down but Allyson was still up in grounds for the USA and Myers did the rest of the damages.
The US women were more determined to win than anyone here after dropping batons in 08 and 09.

As far as the US not having anything to celebrate, lets compare. First of all, a sprint is ANY event requiring a starting block:
    Jamaican women
    1st, 3rd - 100
    2nd - 200
    2nd - 4x100
    3rd - 4x400
So that's a total of ONE gold medal
    US Women
    2nd - 100
    1st, 3rd - 200
    1st, 3rd - 400
    2nd, 3rd - 100 hurdles
    2nd - 400 hurdles
    1st - 4x100 relay (world record)
    1st - 4x400 relay
Also, gold in LJ, silver in HJ, gold in PV.
Felix - triple gold, Richards Ross - double gold
I'd say US had PLENTY to celebrate

Way to go stars and stripes, when they get there passes down they CAN NOT be beat. Jamaica even with Campbell Brown on the last leg CAN NOT get USA when they have their passes down. The only way USA ever gets beat is when the drop the baton. That's all international relay races in history. They have lost due to baton drops. I’m still trying to figure how they thought Campbell-Brown was catching Jeter? This is the 4 x 100 not 4 x 200! Jeter is the 100 meter champion not Campbell-Brown

The usa gals are good in relays.Relays are not run bcos you have four fastest sprinters but it involves good chemistry coming down to good baton passing as well.In this particular race the american coach got their tactics and selection right,( Allyson felix, Myers was a deadliest line up and waiting on anchor is Jeter). Ja had two great sprinters back to back (frASER and kerron).........but Sherone lost in on her leg.

Fraser should be the starter and Bailey on the curve and vcb n stewart can take the 2 straight walk ways.

YOU are wrong here, the final lane draws are made depending on the time you clock in the semi finals(that is why the fastest losers in the semi final either get the outside lane 8 or the inside lane 1).
In 2005 and 1997 world champs Jamaican got an inside lane and usa was on the outside but the USA still won fair and square. If you look at the 2011 and 2010 penn relays Jamaican run from the inside but still lost.
