What was the ORIGINAL plan to rescue Han Solo in Return of the Jedi?

Here's an in-depth look at the plan, or lack thereof, to rescue Han Solo in Return of the Jedi. I'll look at what could have been the plan and what was actually shown onscreen. I also included some other information about Lando Calrissian, Boba Fett and Bib Fortuna.

I think the general Plan A was to simply have Leia sneak in and retrieve Han, ostensibly unnoticed (before Jabba revealed how popular his decoration was to him). They sneak everyone in. (Remember, R2 had Luke's saber and I'm sure Lando was armed, and I bet Chewie's crossbow was close at hand). Thereafter, they planned to rely on Luke's overwhelming Jedi skills, backing him up if needed. I think the original Plan probably anticipated a lot of blasting.

What was the plan? Try watching Return of the Jedi 🙄First of all Lando is planted inside Jabba's palace as one of his henchmen, then send in C-3P0 & R2-D2 (with Luke's lightsabre concealed, because Luke probably wouldnt get a weapon past security (no, not the incompetent Gamorean Guards)). Then send in Leia with Chewie to get them both inside. Then finally Luke shows up. Gangs all together again.🤸‍♀️🤺🤾‍♀️🤺 Simples
