- Hi everyone!
I wasn’t actually going to publish this because well..... I look ROUGH 🤣🥴 but I made a bow when I started this channel to always be transparent, raw and honest so here we go!
This was my experience with covid (the delta variant which is dominant right now in the U.K.)
My symptoms were:
Sore throat
Sneezing
Fever
Chills
Worst headache of my life
Eyeball pain
Blocked sinuses
Blocked nose
Horrible taste in mouth
Loss of smell
Dizziness
Nausea
A slight cough
Have you guys had covid yet?
Please give this Video a thumbs up! 💜
I'm so glad your here to tell the tale. Bless you I'm not suprised you was feeling emotional. It's probably relief that you are starting to feel like it's coming to a end xxx
With your history in health anxiety you are handling it beautifully, Cherelle! you should be so proud of yourself! feel better real soon!
Good to hear that you went through it smoothy, without any bigger anxiety relapse! It was the same for me as well. I was in a good place when I got covid. I had some "what if" thoughts (especially related to the complete loss of smell and taste) and felt a little bit down but it didn't last a long time and I managed to quickly get rid of it. 😊
I am so sorry you are going through this, I tested positive just yesterday and being pregnant and with a heart condition it scared the life out of me seeing a positive result, make sure you have plenty of lemon and honey in warm water, it seems to be the only thing that helped me along with painkillers every four hours. ❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing your experience with us Cherelle, so glad to hear your feeling a bit better now 🥰❤️ xxx
Thank you Molly 💜 x
Aww sorry sweetheart take your time Rest up !!! Blessings to you!!!!🌸🌸💕
Thank you! I feel totally back to normal today! :) x
Covid is rough, glad you're okay. I had it back in December and it started similar to how you described it. I doubted my positive result for ages, even though I was ill a knew it wasn't the normal kind of ill I get. My partner was asymptomatic on testing and that too was positive, she then got ill a few days later. No doubts at that point!!!
Oh so sorry Cherelle 😭 Hope you feel better ASAP ❤️
I’m better now, thank you 💜
Thank you for posting this. The info on propranolol is so brilliant! I have anxiety and had covid some months ago and was taking propranolol and maybe due to the propranolol (which I didn’t know at the time) I had very mild covid. So interesting and helpful to connect the two in my head now.
Thanks so much for watching! It’s really interesting isn’t it about Propanolol! I’m looking forward to reading more about it!
Glad to see your doing ok Cherelle and that things didn't get any worse!! Really interesting about propranolol and the immune system, a video on that would be a great insight. I've been on propranolol for 7 years for anxiety and have only had a couple of colds and very mild covid! Also your morning hair looks great☺
Thanks so much! Yes it’s really interesting! I’ll absolutely some more research and film a video! 😊
I’m so glad you are feeling better and thank you so much for sharing this. Did you have anxiety about getting covid before you tested positive? I had a false positive a few months ago and I absolutely lost it. My heart rate went up to 160bpm when i got the call. I ended up going to 2 ERs the same day for tests and they both came back negative. I’m getting married in October and I’m super worried 😭
Dang I'm sorry to hear that hope you get well soon
Thanks so much! I’m feeling almost back to normal today! 🤍
Try not to worry about your kids. I had it. Caught it from my 10 year old (who caught it at school). My 18 month old and partner were around me before my positive and youngest even slept in the same room as me. Neither my youngest or my partner caught it. Hope you feel better soon.
Christ be with you & walk you through this.
Thank you. I’m feeling much better today :)
I loved this video, very informative and reassuring. I have covid now, day 7 in isolation and still feeling extreme vertigo, brain fog, dizziness, fatigue etc…how long did it take for these symptoms to disappear for you? I’m so glad you’re all recovered now - stay strong and safe! ❤️❤️❤️
Hope you are feeling well now. What are your current symptoms?
Glad you're feeling better.
Thank you!
hello, i’m glad you kept using turmeric and honey and stuff it definitely helped a lot and if u don’t mind me asking were u vaccinated
Get well soon Cherelle
I’m already better now thank you :)
Hope you feel better I had Covid this summer
Hope you get better soon kid.
I’m already better thanks! :)
My husband, son, and father in law have it now. This is no joke! Not your typical flu/cold.
Leaving this here to look back at it when i fully recover. Ive had covid for about 5 days, worst symptom for me has just been fever throughout these days and obviously the loss of taste and smell. I am kind of worried with the what if thoughts so ive been looking for someone i could relate to so i could calm down a bit. Im not vaccinated or nothing and im 17. Praying everything will be fine for me.
Praying that it goes smoothly for you and you recover soon 🙏🏽
Update - Ive fully recovered. Its been a wild ride, gained my taste and smell for the most part although i wouldnt say 100%. Just leaving this here for anyone looking for some reassurance. Youll be fine.
@@ky-li5zt was it the delta variant?
Just a piece of advice: I got COVID myself a couple of weeks ago, my doctor told me that the virus thickens the blood and prescribed me blood thinners (to prevent blood clots from forming). I would highly recommend you those since you mentioned the risk of blood clots from AstraZeneca. Also try to avoid potatoes and foods rich in starch (which also thickens the blood), take curcuma (tablets or together with milk), spirulina (single-called algae) ,oily fish (rich in Omega- they also prevent blood clots). Also try to avoid vit.C since it is part of the synthesis of various blood clotting factors. Licopene which is found in tomatoes would also be helpful in your situation. Hope that helps and wish u fast recovery ✨
Hi there! Thank you so much for the interesting advice but I have to say that I think your doctor may have gotten it wrong somewhat or perhaps her verbalised it incorrectly. Covid-19 doesn’t in of itself thicken the blood. What it can do though, is make you so unwell that you become immobile. If you pair inflammation and immobility they create a near perfect environment for blood clots in your legs and lungs. So when a person has covid it’s a great idea to try wherever possible to move around. Even simple leg exercises can reduce the risk! I’m feeling much better today thank you! I’m pleased that you recovered. 💜
Hi Cherelle, did you have any mild chest and/or breathing symptoms that resolved during or after getting Covid ? Appreciate you and all you do. Thank you!
I got prescribed propanol for anxiety and I have not taken any of the medication I’ve been prescribed
Hope you're okay now.
Going through this now. How long did your fever last?
Taking steam makes it more better I had the same and steam works really well.
My daughter age 37 was fine Monday then Monday night woke up shaking violently and 103 fever and u bearable headache , eye pain, burning neuropathy and painful feet
What helped you stay calm during your illness?
That’s a good question and I’m not entirely sure! I did a lot of sunbathing out the garden for the vitamin D. A lot of deep breathing and all in all I just knew I’d be ok. I kept thanking my body for all of the hard work it was doing and took good care of myself!
it was horrible experience. In india it was the scariest...i went though it..lung infections etc.. toomany people died in india due too it.
Can you please tell us what was your reason for not taking the other dose of vaccine? I'm 24 and I am considering taking the vaccine on Monday (Pfizer) but I'm not sure if that Is the safest thing to do or do I need it.. so glad you are better :)
It’s safer than getting covid. I had my first Pfizer dose the other week. Just had a sore arm for a few days x
Hey I’m 22, 2x jabbed with pfizer for 2 months now, the only reaction I had was a mild pain in my arm
Thank you so much for your answers. I am more concerned about the long term consequences but I guess that nobody can know those for sure yet. x
@@Sofia-kv7wf Hi Sofia. There is a lot of misinformation out there and it isn’t always coming from those you would usually suspect. I’d keep an open mind but stay away from fringe conspiracies with wild speculations. I would listen to those doctors, scientists (and even Noble Prize winners) being silenced. They have a lot to say about this virus, the variants, the safety of these vaccines and the proven effectiveness of alternative, repurposed drugs. I’d listen to: Dr Tess Lawrie; Dr Robert Malone; Dr Byram Bridle; Dr Roger Hodkinson; Dr Geert Vanden Bossche. Listen to them, their arguments and look at their credentials BEFORE you read the curious smear campaigns by certain, notorious websites, put out against them. Always remember, money talks. Follow the money trails. All the best xx
I have dizziness feeling sick snotty blocked runny dry nose and a sore throat feel cold sometimes and hot
I tested positive for covid Xmas day 😓😓😓 symptoms started boxing day lathargic.. sore throat ..cough every now and then headaches body aching ...Monday felt some what better after sleeping all day Tuesday just cough amd flem Wednesday today cough and flem hurts to cough but breathing is OK...
Glad you are feeling better.... Just think what you would have been if you had not been vaccinated... Did you have the 2nd dose? All the best
Hope you don’t mind me asking, but are you vaccinated? It’s good you only had a mild illness!! Glad you’re better x
Not at all :) I had one AstraZeneca jab way back in March and decided not to have the second. Thank you! X
@@cherellethinks you’re amazing! I would have been BESIDE myself thinking I was going to die 😂 well done you for handling it so well!
@@cherellethinks Smart choice honey!
So surprised you havnt been checking pulse oximeter
I refused to do any checks at all as it would have just made super anxious 🥴🤣🤒
Were you vaccinated or unvaccinated when you got sick?
Good question
Was you double jabbed Cherelle? I know you posted a vid of first jab when you had that done
Hey! 😊 I’ve only had 1 jab. I had my first jab in March and had AstraZeneca but decided not to have my second
Many people get covid with being double jabbed
Many people get covid with being double jabbed
@Living Life Simply OK, treat yourself hon
@Living Life Simply it decreases the risk dramatically for deaths and hospitalisation.
Sick people are getting turned away because there isn’t enough beds in hospitals and the ICU’s. Wasn’t there 4 infants who died in Australia because of lockdown restrictions? There may be a 1-3% death rate, but that is still millions of people. Then you have to think about the long term effects of covid (I don’t want to scare anyone who has had COVID on here so I’m not going to list them). The vaccinations have shown on X-rays that those fully vaccinated are less likely to have lung scarring/damage. You are entitled to your own opinion though :)
Bruising on feet now I think covid toes…. Also bronchitis, painful cough
there's something I don't get about this, U had covid but yet u still look so flipping beautiful how? in all seriousness glad ur coping, having Covid isn't easy. Hope u didnt have to spend to long away from ur partner
Thanks so much Shanelle. Means a lot! It was definitely tough! So glad I’m better now. My partner looked after me and luckily he didn’t catch it which was great!
@@cherellethinks that's fantastic my girlfriend looked after me when I had it and she got it worse than I had it so I ended up looking after her whilst having it which is actually funny to think about looking back. BTW followed u on Instagram and u kinda answered the dm I sent ya lol
In which town do you live? You think you were getting vitamin D 3:40 ? You need more exposed skin to get significant amount of vitamin D from the sun. Just sunshine on your face is not enough. You can put on a sleeveless blouse or a T-shirt. Shorts is good too.
I live in the U.K. but I make sure I get sun exposure every day for at least an hour when it’s there with load of skin exposed. I also take 4000UI of vitamin D every day. I’m pretty vitamin D obsessed lol
I went through a phase of believing that Vitamin D was the holy grail and that if I had enough, I would never get sick. But unfortunately you could have amazing vitamin D levels but your immune system
could be weakened because of chronic stress or inadequate sleep. So I believe that along with vitamin D there’s many other things such as good sleep, stress management, good diet etc that go along hand in hand to ensure a robust immune system. Vitamin D alone isn’t going to do that
@@cherellethinks You are right. You need good quality eight hour sleep every night. Some people need a little less: like seven hours or 7 1/2. It's different for each person. Eliminating or minimizing stress is very important. 💜
Glad ur better do u think that one vaccine helped u
Just asking cos iv only had the one till November my first was 3 weeks ago
Put your hope in Jesus Christ. He will give you perfect peace rest and eternal security. This situation here is only gonna get worse and worser. Only He is gonna get you out of this mess. God bless you all.
I’m got Omicron and it was like a real pain, it nearly kill me
Omicron is less dangerous. I have had Omicron and it was like a cold!
Hey was u vaccinated or part x
I’d had one vaccine x
Ivermectin. Listen to Dr Tess Lawrie. Glad you’re feeling better.
Hi love. Where you vaccinated
Hey! 😊 I’ve only had 1 jab. I had my first jab in March and had AstraZeneca but decided not to have my second
Very irresponsible on your part!!!
@@sheilawroten4559 it’s totally a personal decision. 🤷🏽♀️
@@sheilawroten4559 oh grow up. Leave Cherelle alone, she is a grown woman and she made a decision on not taking the other vaccine. Its her life and her choice. it's actually voluntary whether you have it or not, so it's not like she has broken any rules. You do not legally have to have it done. And Cherelle is right you can still get covid-19 even after being double vaccinated. It's meant to stop you from getting really poorly and from going to hospital. So get your facts right and go away. Negative people like you my god you must be great at party's.
@@sheilawroten4559 why is that irresponsible? What she does with her body has literally zero effect on you, or anyone else. So far with the highly contagious delta variant. I know a handful of unvaccinated people who have gotten it, and double who are vaccinated who have gotten it. They all have the same kind of symptoms.
