    Thank you for your review. Your videos are simply the best on CZcams. I bought the Gillette "Skin" cartridges for half the price of the SkinGuard cartridges and they are essentially the same thing!

      @@davidsotir4318 Hey David, absolutely. At half price, I would jump on them too. You will find the aloe strips slightly better than the standard Skinguard too, so it’s definitely a steal 👍🏼💈

    Nice review Ally, looks like the Gillette "Skin" is just a repackaged "Skinguard", pity the carts are so expensive.👍🙂👍

      Yep UncleL, Got sucked in to try out that weighted handle but absolutely yes!! Repackaged Skinguard and the carts are bloody expensive!!

    Nice video and great advice to stop shaving after one pass, if you have sensitive skin.

      Hahaha…. True that. Gillette are so notorious for these rebrands 🤣

    I also have sensitive skin. When I shave I found the best is to shave in the shower. It seems to help the sensitivity a lot. I've always wanted to try the shaving cream that you use a brush with. What brand would you recommend? And what type of brush? I could not believe there was so many brushes to choose from and quite expensive. Also, I've just seen your review of the heat. Gillette razor would you recommend that for sensitive skin as well? Thanks

    • @allydz
      @allydz  Před 2 lety

      I wouldn’t recommend anything fancy for sensitive skin my friend. Give mild safety razors a go as well, once you are used to it; I find they are the best for skin and shave quality. If not, Skinguards are the best cartridge systems in my opinion. The brush I use is an Muhle Badger brush. Invest in a decent brush, it will go a long way. Some people prefer synthetic brushes as well and they are not too expensive. Get something that’s good quality.

    Godbless you always and your family. First time i see your videos and i like it a lot . I like to shave bald head and face. I also have sensitive skin. Which cartridge razor you recommend me. And if it llaves a nice BBS look shave.

      Thanks for the kind words Julio., My neck area is sensitive too. Personally I haven’t found anything better than the Gingers Skinguard for sensitive skin. Schick Hydro 5 Sense is also a great razor with a lot of indication. Hope that helps.

    I use Gillette Mach 3+ as a female to shave my legs and other areas and love it but I’m wanting to try the skinguard Gillette but I don’t think it’s worth it hm
    What’s your favourite razor?
    My only issue with Gillette now is that my razor isn’t metal and it’s lighter and when I press down hard the blade falls off ugh

    • @allydz
      @allydz  Před 2 lety

      If the Mach 3+ works, stick to it. There is a Mach 3 turbo or Mach 3 turbo 3D which feels heavier and nicer in the hands. Also, my humble experience says never to press down the razor too hard and just run it on top of your skin with short strokes. ✌🏼

      Gday Steve… True that. What the Skin guard does in 2 passes, the Fusion and Prosheilds do in 1 pass. Also we are lucky we don’t need the skin guard😇

    Whats the ingredients in the aftershave? The container looks like dove face lotion with another label.

    • @allydz
      @allydz  Před 2 lety

      There is no mention of the ingredients on the box. It says SPF & moisturiser… Standard Gillette. It’s definitely not dove face lotion. Smells nicer and is not as thick.

    How do you deal with razor bumps/rashes??

    • @allydz
      @allydz  Před 2 lety +1

      A good shave routine & technique + quality soaps & razors has helped me avoid razor bumps/rashes. When I do get them, I avoid shaving for a god 2-3 days. Then I do just 1 or 2 passes max to avoid further irritation too the skin
