Haven’t tried Harry’s as they are not here in Australia yet. Between the other 2, Schick Hydro hands down my friend is the hero. Gillette Fusion 5 is great but they got nothing on the Hydro.

@@allydz Sure, double safety, Gillette, Silver, I use Dorco now since no longer have access to the original Gillette. For aftershave, Arko, Intesa, some local brands. Mostly to relieve skin, some products just have flavor, moisturizing is not enough.

@@allydz In my country i find proglide blade with the orange gel, is this old or new model? There are five different proglide blades from what i see on internet : Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power with green gel Gillette Fusion5 ProGlide Power with orange gel Gillette Fusion5 ProGlide Power with green gel Gillette ProGlide Power with orange gel Gillette ProGlide Power with green gel.

@@lestattsia9365 they are all just minor variations with those blades. The orange guard will work totally fine brother. Do look into the differences I pointed out in the video, although minor; some work better than the other completely depending on your skin and hair type. There’s always amazon if you can’t find variants locally. Cheers

Hi again. Firstly if the cartridge is working great for you, apart from eco-friendly, the other things you mentioned as benefits are non-existent. Safety razors are definitely not cheaper to use barring in mind you spend more money on soaps, brushes, splashes, etc. Having said that, I say everyone should experience the luxury of shaving with DE, definitely any mild razor you get will still give you a good shave. King C Gillette, Muhle R89, Edwin Jagger DE89, the list goes on. Personally I believe it's a great idea to shave with both. Cartridge for speed and efficiency, Safety razor to improve technique and control.

@@drytool this depends on the individual who sees the same inefficiency. My DE razor cuts the hair away with one stroke. So it is much much more efficient than the razor in the video.

​​@@WS1965-GE I definitely pushed the limit with the length of my stubble, so I wouldn't recommend it to someone who shaves once every 4-5 days or more. From an efficiency POV, think it's designed more for individuals that have sensitive skin in mind cuz it's super mild. I would recommend this to a daily shaver in a heartbeat. This also is a great starting point for individuals who are nervous to make the switch from carts ✌️🙂

@@WS1965-GE Whose hair and when? Different people have different hair coarseness, shave with different frequency, and have different skin types. I think even the humidity levels in the air can make a difference from shave to shave, not to mention what blade is put in the razor, so how can you look at one guy shaving on one particular day with one particular blade and make a judgement that is meaningful?

@@drytool Hello Drytool, you can see an answer from the video creator. He also says that the razor is a mild razor and that confirms my opinion. Maybe you can make the razor more aggressive with a Feather blade but with the delivery condition the razor is less efficient or mild. Have a good one W.

@JimG Thanks for sharing your experience !! My experience is the same and the Gillette power handles are definitely smoother. Guess what else I learnt from one of your comments, those Schick Quattro razors that I hated for their clogging…. They are awesome for daily shaves

You might have to up your budget to close to 7-800 INR mate, look up Amazon. I’m sure you will find some decent quality options.

Depends on your growth and bread thickness. Proglide styler is probably the best if u have heavy growth to trim first with the trimmer side and then shave. If the growth isn’t as heavy then the Proglide Power will work really well.

@@allydz Actually my power handle might be of a similar age. I don't use carts very often but I do keep my hand in on the carts, unlike many DE shavers I actually get on quite well with carts as long as I use my traditional shave procedures.💈😎🪒

Cheers Ryan. Yea some of them hate carts with a passion. Shaving with a DE definitely helped me improve my technique and when applied to a cart, they elevated my overall shave experience. I do think carts seriously don’t work for some people but they are really not as bad as some shavers make them look like. Appreciate the kind words ✌🏼😎

This isn’t the power version, doesn’t need a battery.

It’s been over 3 years, works perfectly fine and is my favourite cartridge razor for cold days which is like 8 months here. Pretty sure they will cover it under warranty for 12m or 24m in Australia atleast from Consumer law.

@@AP-qu8sl It’s a great razor bud. Take care of it like anything else and it should last. Pro-tip, look up carts for Gillette labs (exfoliating bar) on Amazon for refills. They are the same carts and go on specials, that’s when you want to bulk order carts ✌🏼😎
