Another thing to help with Alaya's hair would be a leave in conditioner spray! Use after the hair has been washed and spray on when the hair is still a bit damp/wet with the wet brush. The leave in conditioner will make it much easier to brush through and can be used on all of the girls' hair and helps to define curls! This means less frizz! I hope this is helpful!!!

I wish my parents had bothered, I grew up determined to make my hair straight wether with water or hair straighteners. just know that's what your saving your daughter from! and that is so true regarding brushing when dry is a big no, I recommend Denman brush's as well, after the hair has been washed, use a Denman brush, brushing outwards away from your head, helps drying and bring the curls to life even without products in my experience. good luck and best wishes xx

I can’t speak for Alaya but as a girl who had the exact same hair as her when I was her age, she will really appreciate that brush!! My hair is identical to my dad’s so I was raised with a parent who knew how to treat curly hair but I still know there is very much a difference in combs and wet brushes

With Alaya's hair (sorry if I spelt her name wrong) you could also try a wide tooth comb (instead of a brush) and a good quality professional conditioner spray. Spray wet or dry hair, then slowly brush/comb from the ends, working your way up to her scalp. Curly hair is often dryer and needs more conditioning to keep it soft and smooth. Love how your apartment is coming together as well. And your outro was super cute ✌️
Brooo!! 👏👏👏👏 I have the same bedspread and darkish wood dressers I stained myself from ikea. It looks banging. One suggestion! Get some real-looking fake palm plants for your room. It’ll tie it allll together!! I kid you not! ❤
Look my boyfriend is an amazing dad. Does anything I ask, takes care of them alone, etc. BUT I would NEVER leave him alone for a week with the kids, someone would come out of it injured or something 😂 I only have 2 and I feel like I’m barely hanging on, you should be proud!
The wet brushes have been agame changer and well never go back! We started with brushing our daughters hair in the bath with conditioner. Then rinsed the conditioner out of course. Now since they are older. We use pray detanger a s the wet brush. Try that!
What you need is the curl detangler brush for the girls. It is specifically for curls and will keep their bounce where the others just push them down. I’m a curly girl momma too!

You should also brush for the ends to the roots helps with preventing tangles and breakage
