    That was a lot of work accomplished with not a lot of dudes or equipment. Great utilization of what you had. Definitely the right dudes and the right equipment.

    JD, check out what's called a 5th wheel puller at truck stops or truck supply houses. It's just a hook with a T handle on it and might be good for pulling around the grating. I don't mind walking on beams like that but pulling steel on steel might be a little dicey. A little stubborn then starts to move, yikes. Great job.

    Very nice!! ATL Key Grip here and I'm currently looking at spaces. I'll be locking down a 10k sq. foot shop space very soon. We'll need a mezzanine similar to this. I'll be reaching out soon. Thanks for the great Videos JD!!

    Awesome video as usual JD, love to see what you guys are up to. When you build something like this mezzanine, are you working off of plans provided by the client, or do you design/engineer this stuff yourself? Keep up the great work!

    Just sub'd. Great videos!! I don't get the bread cover though? I work in a clean room environment, hair/beard cover, gown, gloves, eye pro and ear pro. But your welding with a beard cover on!!! Get more contamination from welding then your beards!?!?

      Those beard covers will catch on fire & MELT, so no, it's not fire protective. It's because it's a food facility. BBs & spatter fall on the floor, but the wind catches a single hair, it'll land in somebody's breakfast sandwich every single time.

  • @63256325N
    @63256325N Před 7 lety

      Duncan MacKenzie hair nets and beard net have to be worn inside this facility

    • @63256325N
      @63256325N Před 7 lety

      I first thought that it must of had something to do with food prep but looking at the surroundings that's not the case. What's in there that requires you to where hair nets? Looks like a tool shop to me.

    • @Volcker1929
      @Volcker1929 Před 7 lety

      Duncan MacKenzie my guess is they are in the maintenance shop of a bottling plant or co-packer. Around 3:20 in the background you can see a conveyor belt with what appears to be 12oz brown glass bottles. - Nice job on the mezzanine.

    • @63256325N

    Yeah, that looks safe dancing on those beams. Work on the grates out, not over the beams in.
