Brief description going through all the settings on a commonly used Unilab signal generator. Minaly for school teachers seeking to understand how to use it to demonstrate in class.
i generator It's just another word for synthesizers to me as a Musical instrument Even know it's not but not to be using that way well to me is a Musical instrument Because it has the same feature as a analog synthesizers I guess it is a early adopted to analog synthesizers
@@untrust2033 Don't assume people that's a life lesson 🙂 all good tho. this generator It's basically a synthesiser aka a vco That stand for Voltage control oscillator also FM Stands for frequency modulationis that part of synthesis Use for Sound design
@@deadlinkofficialartst5592 It's not. I use these regularly and all they have is a knob for frequency and some switches to choose the waveform type. There is an output amplifier state but ehh. The frequency stability on these isnt very good but sure you could use it as a VCO as part of a synth if you really wanted, although the size of this thing makes it pretty impractical.
thank you so much for this. I am a new school lab technician and this is super helpful 🙏
I would use the amplifiers as distortion of sound design Through my Moog Synth
I would use this saw wave to make basses
so is has FM Synthesis aka Frequency modulation Synthesis

this generator looks like a analog synth to me
its not
@@untrust2033 bro You obviously don't know. You're talking to someone that knows about electronics and that play's with synthesisers 👍

@@untrust2033 Type up this on google it's actually interesting [what is the first synthesizers called Signal generator]
