Standing Waves on a String (Melde's Experiment) - How to set up and teach

This video shows a way of setting up standing waves on a string in a school classroom. This is often used to perform a version of Melde's experiment where the tension or length of string is chalged and the frequencies of the standing waves measured.
The video is designed to help teachers understnad and set up the experiment using equipment commonly available in secondary schools.
