As a kid I listen to Wolf's version of Africa. Coz I listen to my brothers' playlist on spotify and I find Karl Wolf before Toto so I always love the African version but I love both band but my fave from Toto is Hold THe Line coz I also played lot of San Andreas as a kid. cx

These gave have talent but I always have to question their choices. I just heard the vocals only version of RUN from a couple years ago the other day and it blew me away but it's like 5 lyrics. That said this exactly what I wanted to hear today.

@@Nomy Okay maybe that was a weird way to say that. Also I updated my original comment a bit. So you guys nail the vocals every time and every instrument hits hard, but some of the music videos or lyrics just don't seem to fit the energy or theme. I think the first song I heard of yours was Cocaine about a year or two ago and I was amazed it was almost 7 years old at the time. Then I started looking through more stuff and just didn't feel like it had the same completeness for lack of a better term. Which to be fair is the same for a lot of music I listen to. I mentioned RUN! in my original comment, again an older song, had a lot of energy but the video felt like it didn't match the seemingly serious tone. The vocals only version was amazing but they both needed more lyrics to make it feel like a full song. I guess my point is I'm confused on the direction. While everything is good or even great it always feel like something small is missing but end up standing out. Still 100% a fan and always looking forward to more.
The videos are with 0$ budget. 😅 the most stupid lyrics always streams better. RUN! Was an experiment of that. And it worked.

Vocal performance is A+ as always but what''s going on with the instrumental? The guitars sound like they've been run through an old peavey bandit with a blown speaker.

@@Nomy Stay sounds way fuller and with more presence. This sounds more like there's a lo-fi filter over the guitars but maybe that's just me.

Is it just me or his music sounds very flat? Like they tune all instruments to play on the same frequency and just the vocals rise out from the flat soundscape?
I know what you are mean, but I think this is the sound of the style Nomy wants to deliver to us. It reminds of Nine Inch Nails or other Industrial Metal Acts.

Its very energetic & the instruments are well done but I feel that the entire song lacks emotion severely. It is about deep feelings of love, wishful thinking & in a sense, intense infatuation with someone at the end of the day. Which I strongly feel that your remake fails to deliver Its just a decent rock song, that all. But it, by no means does the song justice unfortunately
