I started having kale and berry shakes for breakfast and lunch about a month ago. The benefits have been lack of hunger, clear skin, zero cravings, excess energy, better attitude, and just overall great feeling. My kale went bad and I missed my shakes yesterday. I was tired, hungry, and started craving things I haven't wanted for awhile. I will never make that mistake again.

Its been adjustment living with daughter, and need stove cord n microwave. shes got her priorities. lol all wrong, im just sick and made also first batch of bone broth last night which be done today, i had done something accidently wrong on my phone which. had caused ppl from revelation. health. Dr poppas website to call me and lady so nice she didn even try to sell things n was honest but told me where i got everything going on. the beef bone broth i need. My kale smoothie recipe
8oz frozen kale
1/4 cup mint
1/4 cucumber
2 table spoon lemon juice
4 drops Liquid Stevia
4 scoops Dr bergs Certified Organic Wheat Grass Juice Powder
1/4 cup water
Blend till smooth you will love it
Can I make it without stevia ?

Been drinking kale smoothies for months if I miss a day I don't feel complete gives me energy and I feel good
65 years old. Started this shake two weeks ago. I put in flax and chia seeds as well as the strawberries and blueberries. I have also included a half a banana. But I think I will now pull out the banana.

So, the constipation hit me about 2 weeks in after starting Kale Shakes! I will make them smaller and gradually go bigger now that I know. Have to drink it, hate eating it!

Love the idea of subbing coconut butter/oil for banana because I don't tolerate bananas well.
Avocado instead of a Banana, packed frozen organic spinach is good to mix with this, Coconut Water is also good with this.
Hi Dr. Berg. I am so lucky to have found you! I watch your videos every day. I order your wheat grass juice powder. You have inspired me tremendously!!! I went to an endocrinologist last Friday. He was clueless. I have adrenal exhaustion. He began testing me for "Addison's Disease" and b/c my adrenals aren't in the final stages of failure--he dismissed me. My tests have shown I'm not making enough cortisol in the morning or early afternoon and it's very elevated at night. I've had severe insomnia and lots of secondary thyroid issues for years but most doctors only recognize heathy adrenals or advanced stage disease--and nothing in between. His solution was thyroid medication because of my high TSH. I've taught myself as much as I can--but have gotten such a boost from your incredibly helpful and common sense instruction. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will be ordering your stress releasing tool next. BTW, my grown kids think you are really funny and entertaining. They especially love your video about water where you say "Ah yeah, you DO know when you're thirstly!" Hahahaha! Bless you Dr. Berg--you are helping so many people. I just had a kale shake. Cheers!!!

+JoAnna VanIersel ....your cortisol is supposed to be high in the morning and low at night....morning__clean protein and clean fats....evening__clean carbos.
Don't do any high intensity exercises. Stretch, taiji, yoga and get rid of stressful people at night. Ambient music of certain alpha-theta frequencies at night. Watch comedy. Practice relaxed breathing.

Yes AW. I'm following a protocol much like the one you outlined. I should not have said my cortisol levels were "very" elevated. I meant they were backwards--low in the day and high at night (relatively speaking) b/c my adrenals are weak over-all and not producing enough.
Hi Lisa Kerns. I've had my ups and downs but I've learned a lot and gotten help from Dr. Berg. I got his tool which I like. I'll keep you posted on that. If I could list the most important (helpful) things for me so far, I would say: 1. No sugar. (Hard--but it is a metabolic poison.) I can't always stay off of it completely--but my lab tests have shown significant improvements after periods of abstinence. (Especially thyroid function.) 2. A big salad every night with ACV and coconut oil. For some reason, adding crushed garlic makes it really yummy. 3. Not drinking so much dad-gum water. (Thank you Dr. Berg! Watch vid if you haven't already seen it.) 4. Buying and eating the best quality food I can afford. (Cheaper than paying doctor's bills.) 5. Walking every day. It doesn't have to be strenuous--but just enjoyable and relaxing for as long as you can.
I also eat animal proteins, dairy and wheat in moderation. They all cause inflammation but I do have them occasionally. I meditate and do deep breathing and massage reflexology points (google it) to try and keep my adrenals from "firing" and to stop my sympathetic nervous system from "running" whenever I'm stressed. It's hard to avoid stress entirely b/c to just be alive is stressful these days. Last, but probably most important is SLEEP. I've battled severe insomnia for over a decade--but it has gotten better with Dr. Berg's suggestions of a teaspoon of nutritional yeast in the day time (all the vitamin Bs) and calcium and L-Tryptophan at night. I also take extra magnesium and a good food based vitamin and mineral supplement. Hope this helps. Best wishes...

I do kale, lime, ginger. Tastes mostly just sour. I do it in bulk:
500grams / 1lb kale. 5 limes (skin included). A thumb size amount of ginger.
I been drinking green juice once a day for about a month now. It has helped out a lot. I want to start drinking it twice a day since it goes bad quick when I make a big jar container of it.
How about adding an avocado it will smoothen up everything and is the king of fruits.
I actually like my kale shake with just blended kale with water and tsp of your wheat grass juice and a fresh squeeze lemon.

So I did it with service barriers, black night shade berries , and plantain. Very earthy.
My favorite kale drink is just kale and fresh pineapple. Lot's of pineapple and a scoop of Dr. Mercola's green powder. It's so good and delicious. I have great energy too!!😀

Coconut oil or flax oil is fine as there is a plenty of vitamin A and it's oil soluble...
Kale juice is faster ! Use organic but make sure to clean your veggies to avoid bugs, dirt, etc. just put kale, spinach in your blender add half lemon and water then blend. You may use a cheese cloth or drink like that.
I make Kale shake no fruits but I add parsley and lemon juice andsea salt yummmm...can't afford blueberries.😣😣😣

Hi, I have a question. I drink plavix blood thinner. Is it OK to drink this even though the Dr's say not to have so much green veggies because of the vitamin k?
Not sure about flavor but could you use an avocado in there to make it thicker and creamier? It would also give you some of the essential fats along with the coconut oil.

Eric Berg I want to thank you for all your videos. I'm hooked! I recall you mentioning that cruciferous vegetables can cause bloating and should be avoided by those who want to loose belly fat. no, I just like to collect really practical workable advice from people who can walk their talk....check out another savvy doc_dr. Joel Wallach on minerals. See dead doctors don't lie and dead athletes don't lie. Also check out Dr. Sebi and also look up Dinshah Ghadiali__his work on colour will knock you out of a lot of paradigms. Dr. Berg recommended actually making you drink at night time & refrigerate for the morning. That way the enzymes break down and you won't bloat when you drink it. I am no one here too! Just helping from all the information I am trying to collect!

I've commented a lot on your video's or on fb, but is cooked kale any good for your health? It's really hard for me to eat raw kale salads... I've tried my blender with Kale, avocado, some Berries, water, chia, but the kale pieces were still there.... That was worse than a salad for me... Blahhhhh... Maybe if I just blend it longer.? I have a pretty good blender... I also have an amazing juicer, not much comes out with Kale... Any nutrion with that??
I had the same thing happen. See if a friend has a really good blender. Ask to can come over and test making a smoothie. I think it's all about the blender.
