Courtenay is a nice place to enjoy if you like outdoor activities and going to the beach...

This is not just a generic North American town to someone who grew up here and moved far away...it is memories, growth, change, the same, and everything that makes it individual. Not interesting I guess if you don't like to kayak, ski, rock climb all in the same day...bummer of a place...I miss it dearly and would love to just drive around it. Thanks for a great video!

Try as you might! 5th street in Courtenay, is just not that exieting. poorly planned, no parking, definitely not disabled friendly. Take a look at Chemainus, to see how it's done.
