Those little stepper motors are fantastic. I have something similar I made for mixing my vape juice slowly, 25 or 30, 30ml glass bottles with a glass bead in each bottle, the glass bead moves around mixing slowly for 24 hours. I used heat sink paste and clamped a computer processor heat sink onto the back of the motor to keep it cool, it worked great. I don't use it now but still have it and it would be so easy to convert for laying on epoxy. I got it from my old microwave oven as they're used for turning the round plate. The capacitors can kill you if touched in microwaves unless they're discharged or left lying for a long time. Always better to either avoid or discharge them. I just avoid then screw the oven back together before it goes to the recycling centre. The motors are not expensive to buy but I like free 😆
I payed mine like 35 PLN so around 7£ 😉 but if you can salvage one sure freebies are always good 😁

They don't need a heatsink, if it gets hot somethings wrong with it trust me, try another.. and uhm about those capacitors, if that were true, i would be dead over 50 times by now, i even touched bigger caps with literally four or five times the strength you talk about 😂.. anyway it is not recommended to touch them 😂..
@@-_-_-.... I added the heatsink because I had it turned on turning 1.5kg in weight for 24 hours, just to be extra safe; it definitely kept it very cool.
About microwave capacitors...I read an article a while back about a teenager who decided to build a welding machine using a microwave's transformer.
During the dismantling stage he touched the fully charged capacitor and died.
His parents found his body and a video on 'how to build a welder from a microwave oven' open on his computer.
Better knowing these things can possibly kill and to be cautious rather than ignorant imho.
I've also been electrocuted many times, even from a 240 volt 30 amp cooker socket, but on one hand only and with rubber soled shoes on, not everyone fairs so well though.
Also, think about folk with pacemakers. Can an electrical shock stop or mess up a pacemaker.
Or, could a sudden unexpected shock cause a person to trip/fall and bang their head hard, of course it could.
I think it's better to be erring on the side of caution, yes?

I absolutely love this design where it turns lures along their C-Axis and not having then rotate like dolphins in the surf. The one thing I did not like was the use of a Phillips screw as mating hardware to the eye bolts of the lures. I think you would have a better connection if you used little eye bolts in place of the Phillips flat head bolts and used a twist tie to attach the eye bolts of the lure to the eye bolts of the turner.
Also good idea, but this way putting lure in or out takes seconds, I also have frame build that first to the same philips screws and is usable for specific lures like under belly screw eyes or vibration types hard baits 😉

Я тоже люблю делать воблеры и покрываю их лаком . Вот я сделал себе простую сушилку для воблеров, можно на ней сушить десяток . Возьми клипсы для закрепления пластиковой гофры на стене , например 16 номер . Также нужно подобрать трубку такого же диаметра. Идея состоит в том, что трубка закреплена на опоре, а с другой стороны крутит моторчик, как на твоём видео. На клипсе с помощью болтика и гайки закреплена медная проволока с обеих концов которой по "крокодильчику", в который будет закрепляться воблер. Клипса будет надеваться на трубу и на ней крутится вместе с покрытым лаком воблером. Просто и дёшево!
Спасибо за просмотр и ваше предложение. Вы, наверное, видели на мне предыдущие видео, в которых я использовал настройку рамки, теперь я хотел переключиться на это, чтобы облегчить доступ к приманке. Я никогда не делаю более двух приманок одновременно, так что эта для меня идеальна :)

For how long is the motor spinning after you've applied the coating? I know it may depends on the resin but I have the same motor and after 10 minutes it gets really really hot. I mean really hot. I'm worried when I think of having the motor running for several hours.
Yes indeed it gets hot, I have the timer connected to it and it spins for 4h, after that I'll leave the lure without touching it for at least another 4h. I don't think there is any risk of it burning down, the aluminium casing probably works as a heat dispenser. Also for my dryer it only need to rotate one lure or two, if you have s frame or heavy big lures, it may get hotter 🤔

Ten silniczek podłączyłeś bezpośrednio do prądu 220 czy masz jakiś zasilacz ?
Bezpośrednio pod 220v nie trzeba żadnej przejściówki 😉 wpisz sobie na allegro "silnik elektryczny 2.5 RPM" - chyba jakieś 35zl kosztuje 🙂

@@remikojaglowski8287 taki z mikrofali tez raczej idzie pod 220 jeżeli nie było tam jakiegoś transformatorka po drodze, z resztą na silniku samym powinno pisać 🤔

What rpm is the motor? Thank you.
This one is 2.5 RPM, but anything from 2-5 RPM will work for lure turner 😉
Hej czy dało by radę nakręcić filmik jak zacząć przygodę z robieniem przynęt chodzi mi o podstawowe wyposażenie jeśli tak byłbym wdzięczny za taki filmik bo sam chciałbym zacząć coś skubać w zimę jak skończy się sezon ale nie mam pojęcia co może mi się przydać na start
Myślę, że mógłbym coś takiego zmontować, ale to tez raczej pod zimę, puki sezon trwa robię takie filmiki jakich przynęt akurat najbardziej potrzebuje 😉
