Because he was a well-meaning older man with a poor memory. If having a poor memory keeps Joe Biden from being charged too, How can Joe Biden be president of the US?
Teacher here - he ended the tax exemption that we teachers USED to get for teaching supplies... money we spend to literally do our jobs (relax it's only about 300 dollars)... but if you're a corporation, you can literally get that tax exemption worth thousands!
It went away because Trump imposed a larger standard deduction. The credit to teachers didn’t “go away” It was on the itemized deduction form. Because Trump more than doubled the standard deduction, it was harder to met itemized deductions larger than the standard one. It was still there IF your itemized deductions are larger than your standard deduction

When de Joy was installed over the USPS he started instituting mass changes, pulling out sorting machines, no OT, closing buildings, moving sorting to cities further away from their areas. I ordered my meds by mail and paid for 2 day delivery. I had 10 days left of my meds but it took over 2 weeks to get my new ones and I ended up in the ER. My brother's a veteran. He gets his meds by mail. Again, 2 weeks. At least he didn't end up in the hospital. I lost 2 cousins to covid in 2 different states within 4 days of each other. Do you need more examples??

Under Obama I loss 8yrs strait because of his taxes on employers not giving insurance. Under trump I was not. I only had to cover what they couldn't. Not all barbers use health insurance. So I was penalized and only 2 of my 30 employees had insurance. So I helped on 2 and was not taxed for the other 28 who didn't want insurance anyway

adult child of parents that got divorced in 2017 here: i don’t know of the specifics of the tax rules trump changed immediately when he got in office, but seeing everyone else’s comments about their issues with taxes it makes sense that those changes affected the way my dad has to now pay my mom (and the government! why!) so much for the rest of his life just for a divorce. they wanted a dissolution at first but money/tax wise that just couldn’t work. i now have to see my dad suffer with handling his money, because the government cheated him. and that also affected how i was able to pay for college, since the tax change affected how fafsa viewed my dad’s gross vs net income. plus he’s a government employee that regularly was affected by cuts cause the trump administration didn’t see value in science and public services. and now trump plans to end no fault divorces which is basically what my parents had and needed, like so many couples. so whenever someone says “trump was a good president cause he’s a business man who knows how to deal with money”, i roll my eyes cause all he knows is how to use other people’s money for his own benefit

Trmp oversaw record corporate bankruptcies caused by his tariffs and other bad economic policies including his mishandling of the pandemic. This affected my income negatively.
He also caused many family owned and small farms with the tariffs. Farmers suicides increased.
That started when he tried to sabotage the North American free trade deal… that had been working well and stimulating all 3 countries’ economies for decades.
He didn’t care the country produces milk and dairy products that can’t be sold to any other country outside the US because it’s of too BAD quality. He didn’t do anything to help exportation, which is where producers can make good money.
Just that first point should lose him every single woman's vote.

The Trump tax plan in 2017 affected me as a truck driver, and many people in so many other professions. He made it so that we can't write off unreimbursed work related expenses on our taxes. If I buy boots, uniform pants, reflective vests, a new cell phone, GPS, hard hat, crow bars, flashlights, or many other things, I used to be able to write them off. Now I can't because of Trump's 2017 tax plan.
His rhetoric also divided the country. He gave the confederates (not Patriots) power to be as bigoted as they wanted in public.

Also Every thing I pay for is up an average of 19.3% and it costs American families $11,400 more per year just to maintain the quality-of-life they had in January 2021 (while my paycheck stays almost the same). Petroleum is even higher than that. The cost to rent a house today is as high as yesterday’s house payment. To Buy a house is impossible because they’ve doubled/ tripled in price plus today’s interest rate is sky high. Our homeless are living in the streets while illegal aliens are being housed and given “bonus” money for day to day expenses. Joe Biden.. he’s not the answer to our problems , He is our Problem.

As a person who lives in a blue state - the eradication of the salt deductions increased my taxes. As a person who lives in the US, DJT's refusal to allow government to build hundreds of critical infrastructure projects themselves and instead opt to subsidize private companies to build those infrastructure projects will raise the price of tolls, shipping costs, food, etc.

Yeah, the Covid handling by Trump was awful! My aunt died because of how he handled things. Never could vote for him, but even more now. I can’t go into that voting booth without thinking that my aunt could still be here if it weren’t for Trump. Literally probably thousands and thousands of people might still be here.
Energy policy: first he inherited low has prices, but they creepy up during his first 18 months. He went to Saudi Arabian and made a deal for them to produce more oil and he would dancing Iran. The Saudis did their part and he signed waivers for Iranian oil fora year. This caused the market to crash and US producers to go bankrupt. Process came down, but we imported more foreign oil.
Then, when the pandemic trashed oil demand, Trump went back to OPEC and asked them to cut production, FOR 2 YEARS, driving up the cost of oil well after demand returned. This cost all of us money at the pump well into 2022.

For me, the complete challenge of the democracy that we know is the most detrimental impact. I don’t live in a society and country that has a king or authoritarian ruler. The laws in place prior to the recent impacts of the Supreme Court ensured this is not a dictatorship or authoritarian rule.
