CANOVI-OCIA Carrot Breeding & Trial Results Webinar

This webinar was recorded February 7, 2024 in collaboration between The Bauta Family Initiative on Canadian Seed Security (a program of SeedChange) and the Organic Seed Alliance. Speakers: Micaela Colley (Organic Seed Alliance), Phil Simon (UDSA), Weijia Wang and Chris Thoreau (CANOVI)
CANOVI (Canadian Organic Vegetable Improvement) and CIOA (the Carrot Improvement for Organic Agriculture project) are collaborators in carrot breeding and trialing, and co-host this virtual event to talk about 2023 carrot trials across Canada and the USA, as well as the plant breeding effort behind some of the trialed varieties.
